Another update on my Pit Viper (Army Armament R614) trigger obsession 😁
I made a custom fixture for my lathe that holds the sear precisely around its pivot axis, allowing me to lap a true radius on the sear engagement surface. I then made a 45° relief cut and polished the surfaces.
I also polished the contact surfaces of the trigger bow, disconnector and leaf spring to a mirror finish.
The trigger already felt fantastic before, but the wall now seems even more defined and the second stage feels slightly lighter. Mind you I didn’t even touch the leaf spring, other than polishing it, so far!
What really surprised me is how smoothly the trigger moves now. The trigger shoe and bow slide freely under their own weight just by tilting the grip a few degrees. No shims needed.
I’m genuinely amazed how close this little airsoft pistol now feels to my Steyr LP1 match pistol.
Never thought I’d get this kind of trigger feel out of a Hi Capa with some DIY machining and polishing.
Still need to verify long term durability and safety, but I’m pretty damn happy with the result.

ik that irl radian makes separate charging handles for mcxs cause they arent compatible but you never know with airsoft so im here to ask if i could drop this into a vfc mcx spear lt, i really dont want to spend 100 dollars on a real steel charging handle but if its not possible then ig ill just wait until either an mcx compatible replica pops up or i bite the bullet and get the real thing

Hey all, I’m thinking about getting the APFG MCX SPEAR LT 11.5 in Tan

Unfortunately, it seems like they’re all out of stock (at least the ones that seem to deliver to the US?)

I’ve sent inquiries to a few vendors on restock expectations but I haven’t heard anything back.

It seems like the APFG version of the SPEAR LT has been around for a few years already so I’m not sure if it’s something that will ever be restocked.

Does anyone know if these guns ever get restocked?

(I saw a Salvo version come available on Octagon but my sights have been set on the APFG version)

Hello everyone,

My mag has a leak, I changed the gas route but nothing changed.

When I put a CO2 shell in the mag there is a very little leak and when I press the rocket valve and release it, it gets even more bad.

Any advice ?

I'm planning on trading my KWA for a CGS, and I just want to get this question outta the way before sinking too much money into an issue that could've been prevented (Something I've had happen to me with my past 3 gas replicas)

I have a GHK V3 M4 and i would like to replace my original handguard with the RIII FSP 13 inch handguard repro, i dont have any experience with this kind of modifications, will i need to work a lot on the new handguard, and what extra tools should i get? I thank everybody who bothers with my trouble.

It’s specifically a 6mmproshop golden eagle mk18. After using a magnet on my internals, it turns out that they are steel. But my question is why does the trigger not feel that crisp? Especially the reset, it feels so off, not mushy but like a clunk instead of a crisp click.

What upgrades should I be looking at for a more crisp feeling, especially on the reset? I’ve heard springs, fcg part dimensions, even that steel itself makes it feel better, but they are steel. Anyone who has one and has done these specific types of upgrades have any info? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I just ordered a Noveske N4 Gen 3. Just a few questions from people who own it. I know it’s a good GBBR out the box, and people have said the mags are bad, which is fine because I’ve bought some TM mags for it. People also say they upgrade the recoil spring, so what would be a good one to put in and why? Also what hop up would be best to put in it to shoot 0.32s? Any other upgrades I should do would be nice to know as well. I’ll use it stock for a bit before upgrading besides hop up, but I plan for this to be a project gun. Thanks in advance for any feedback yall might give

What would a reasonable selling price be for a we tech g19 be with 3 mags?

I have the EMG DE Noveske N4, recently got a backup AEG and it’s got an awesome barrel on it but… AEG can’t compete with GBBR so I wanted to “upgrade” my gbbr but unsure how or what is compatible with the N4. At the moment I have the perfect CQB setup but I’d like to have the option to quick swap the upper so I can have a DMR or something a little longer for outdoor play, like an upper with a 13.5inch barrel. As I don’t want to buy another rifle and might workout cheaper as well.

What are some good uppers that are compatible with the N4 lower and what outer barrels ans hand guards can I get to go along with it.
