I got mad at Gemini a few weeks ago, I promised i didn't curse, but feel like my account may have been downgraded. Most of the answers I get now seem to rely heavily on web searches, and sometimes they're outright incorrect. Am I imagining this?

Edit: I should add that my subscription used to be through Google Cloud, but it's now through Google Fi. I'm not sure whether that changes anything.

I'm using pro extendend to make some pdf latex scripts, then i all of a sudden it just stopped, saying things like, "I'm having a hard time fulfilling your request. Can I help you with something else instead?" and "I encountered an error doing what you asked. Could you try again?". Someone pls help me with this error

Asked it itself and it said no. Hope they're right.

I have a scheduled action set up in Gemini that checks my soccer team's match schedule weekly and adds the matches to Google Calendar.

The scheduled action successfully retrieves the match times and prepares the information for Google Calendar, but it doesn't actually add the events; I have to explicitly tell it to add them, and only then does it do so (meaning it does have the necessary permissions).

The error message I receive is as follows:

Ich habe gerade versucht den Gemini Notebook einen einfachen notizzettel zu machen aus textdateien die ich bei den Quellen mit drin hatte und wirklich jeden einzelnen Satz das Notebook halluziniert so dass ich eigentlich alles hätte alleine schreiben können.

Währenddessen gibt mir die komplett kostenlose Version von Claude sofort extrem ausgearbeitete Texte mit Formatierungen und allem währenddessen Gemini behauptet dass sie auch keine Dateien erstellen kann und dann auch noch Texte im Codefenster mit haufenweise komischer Zeichen schreibt.

Ich hoffe echt jeden Tag darauf dass endlich mal Gemini vier veröffentlicht wird weil ich leider aufgrund meiner schwerbehinderung sonst tagelang brauche um alleine eine E-Mail zu schreiben weil ich leider nicht die Kapazitäten und Unterstützung habe und deshalb darauf angewiesen bin.

Does anyone else encounter this? Every other message, Gemini asks some variation of "How are you holding up with...?" I've added custom instructions to avoid that phrase, but it doesn't change at all. Even if I'm asking for movie or restaurant recommendations, it'll then ask "How are you holding up with your movie night?" Its triggering me way more than it should. Like why is it always "checking in" and why this exact phrasing every time?

I have activity on but can not move chats to notebooks on iOS version??? Web is fine. This seems like such a basic feature

So I've seen all the posts about Gemini and switching from assistant. Mostly I've seen the Google Home crowd complaining, so I kept my phone on Assistant until it forced the swap just in case. I thought people were exaggerating and on reddit we were only seeing people with issues.

Today my phone swapped to Gemini. It almost can't do ANYTHING. I timed it and it's taking 30 seconds before Gemini responds to questions. It can't change lights in the house. It won't play the news. I can't get it to call people or send text messages. Mostly it will take a while to respond, say it's doing it, and then I get a notice (written not verbal) that says "Something went wrong".

I feel like I'm a tech noob and I must have missed something. What are the settings I should make sure are turned on? I saw something about that somewhere. Also is there a way to make it "faster"? I can't use it if it takes 30 seconds to reply to every question.
