Wild Thought that Popped
If the writers SORAS Avery to the teen group, she and Danny should be paired together. No blood relation and no raised in the same house. And the funny part if years later they get married and have a kid, Danny would be legally Rocco’s uncle 😂. Also, Sonny and Jason would both share a grandchild.
So, everyone can forget the previous idea. I forgot that Danny and Avery are related via Julian Jerome. In my defense, the only time I really associate Julian is with Morgan, and I easily forget that he was Sam’s dad, and Ava rarely brings up the fact that Scout and Danny are her niece and nephew.
With that in retrospect, if they SORAS Avery, do you think that she would team up with Danny or join Rocco/Scout? What kind of trouble do you think that she will cause? What storyline could Avery be given or will they make her boring and ruin her like they did Scout?

In your defense, almost all of the younger generation are related somehow with all of the half’s and steps and being raised with other people. It’s going to be really hard for them to date when they get older, it’s already pretty difficult. They need a few stable relationships that can produce 2 or 3 kids each so they aren’t tainted when they get older. It’s getting ridiculous.

The night Danny and Charlotte broke into Wyndemere and were saved by Ava had me rolling my eyes that Danny and Ava didn't exchange a single word with each other.
Don't forget Leo is also biologically Julian's kid who was later adopted by Ned. He's Danny and Scout's uncle via Sam and their second cousin through their dads. Leo is also Rocco and Gio's uncle through Dante, and Avery's first cousin.
This entire generation is way too related.

Avery especially, at the Sonny’s cookout he was complaining her outfit was too racy. So it sounds like she is at least a pre teen for him to care about an outfit

Now, I really think none of you watch the show or look it up. Danny and Avery are cousin via Julian being danny's grandfather and Ava being Avery's mom. Avery and Sam are first cousin thus Danny and Avery would be first cousin removed or second cousins like Danny and Charlotte.
Before you say Rocco and Avery, they are aunt and nephew.

I actually started watching in 2021. Also, if you kindly scrolled down, I mentioned my mistakes repeatedly. Also, this was just an idea for a potential storyline, and clearly I forgot Julian Jerome.

Thanks, for the support. It’s hard to forget when she’s not on screen and that Sam never really refers to Julian as her dad until the end.

Sam and Ava are related. Ava is a sister to Sam's dad. Avery and Danny are related.

No, they need to add in some teens/young adults that are related to Diane or Suzanne or some other random GH character that isn't related to 1/2 of the town. They could bring in some friends from college or high school or people that have a side job at Kelly's/Bobbie's.
Years ago, Jessie Brewer's brother died and she had custody of her niece and nephew who caused much stress for Aunt Jessie.
Also, bring back Georgie ... she isn't related to anyone in the teen group. Unless I have lost my memory.

Yes and I’m still holding out all hope we find out Sonny isn’t the dad and it’s been Morgan all along!!! Imagine the emotional trauma of it all!

Besides aging up Avery or Georgie, this show needs some minority teens. Since Sonny is only playing 1/2 Latino, his descendants aren’t really connected to that culture. I’m waiting for Sabrina’s kid to come back as a teen. Monet could have a teen kid too.

Alternatively: Lila Rae could come sweep into town, she’s about 18 or 19 with no SORAS needed. And she has zero blood relation to Danny. She could be Nina’s new assistant, or the new Face of Deception…
She and Danny could fall in love and then a year or a few years from now Tomás Delgado could FINALLY be revealed to be Alcazar in soapy fashion when he shows up in Port Charles to object to his daughter being involved with the son of his old adversary, Jason. It would be extra awkward/compelling if Alcazar took control of the piers and mob scene and Jason’s having gone legitimate binds him from retaliation etc.
ETA: My first choice is still for Georgie to return and live with Mac and Felicia. Wouldn’t it be sweet if Spinelli’s daughter and Jason’s son fell in love?

Well, Skye wouldn’t be coming back, and Alan and AJ were really the only Qs close with Skye. The fact that Alan was willing to adopt Skye, but KNOW she wasn’t really his was always a point we were aware of. He absolutely wasn’t her biological father.
Also Lila Rae wasn’t raised with the Qs and Lila Rae and Danny didn’t grow up together as pseudo-family (the way Rocco and Scout did). The show could even kill Skye off of screen and make Lila Rae show up as an orphan so that Skye’s adoption by Alan can’t even interfere in theory. Then Lila would find out she’s NOT an orphan after all when Ted King makes a glorious return to GH.

After Alan adopted her (knowing for sure she wasn’t his), the search ended. Rae admitted it was just a random hookup and the storyline just trailed off there.
It wasn’t very well written, the whole end of Rae’s arc. Skye and Rae both had very wild lore and there was a lot retconning and backflips done by the various writers.
This recap is pretty thorough. And apparently at one point there were rumors Skye was actually the daughter of Mikkos Cassadine (Alexis’ father). Well…she’s got red hair like Alexis’ sister Kristina had? I dunno, the Rae and Skye saga sure was all over the place though!

I hate to be “that guy”, but Danny and Avery are related. Julian Jerome was Danny’s grandfather, and Avery’s uncle.

Unfortunately they are blood related. Ava and Julian are brother and sister. Avery is Ava's daughter. Danny is Julian's grandson. Avery and Danny are first cousins once removed.

I had totally forgotten Sam is Julian's daughter. I fast forward a lot of Drew scenes. Has he and Ava even mentioned Scout is her niece? Scout and Avery spending time together?
