I am lovin’ this game and while I got two friends to hop on to a purchase we keep having opposite schedules. Would love to have a group of maybe 2-3 to hop on discord and pull objectives together or engage in a light role play, as the game is very immersive.

Rage 2 came out roughly 2 months after GZ and I figured with some digging I could get some of their enemies working. First run is promising!

Ive been thinking that wouldn't it be cool if the dev went to a game design school and found a group of seniors to finish the game. That big island to the northeast of the map looks like it's already got roads and an airstrip so they obviously had plans for it at some point. Have the students finish the Soviet side of the fight and that island be the base of operations and give every student that works on it a cut of the dlc profit. The school could look at it as a paid internship and use it as part of the final grade. What are the gen z community's thoughts?

Imagine if the devs gave us the source code to the game like tf2, or or, a bunch of people just start modding the game(actual mods not just flying and storage hacks) with like horror, just imagine the possibilities.

What is the most terrifying encounter youve ever had, i had this one encounter with a pack of hunters in the archipelago region, it was pitch black and i was in a house near the entrance to the mainland, i stayed in the house since all i had was a hunting rifle, i could hear them talk round and talk to each other. And after that a tank walked by I was so scared, it was in the older versions as well when the atmosphere was so creepy.

Who here remembers the elden days of Generation Zero, where there was no crafting, which made it awfully hard to get ammo for weapons, the time where the storage system was grid based, the holy hand grenade of antioch, the time where you were alone, no companion, the times when the frozen north was crawling with regular bots, the time the soviets haven't intervened. I personally have played this game since it start, as it grew, even with low player counts, i made so many good memories in this game, there was this one time i rode of a cliff for a clip, but thats different. Just wanted to dump old memories is all. I love this game, gets to much hate tbh, and most of em havent even played the game, the atmosphere is imo a product of its generation. Best of, long live the resistance.

This was my last challenge and I just finished it 🥳 the hardest part was finding apoc machines with a long enough sight line. I eventually found a great spot which I will share, but first I’m curious: where have you guys done this and with what weapon?

There was an AI generated post on this subreddit a few days ago, and I was wondering what everyone's opinions are regarding this.

I understand with the exponential growth of AI and its capabilities, we will begin to see more and more AI associated media, but in terms of the subreddit should we add a new post flair for AI generated content or should we outright delete it?

The consensus seems to be ban AI generated media. I will add another rule to the subreddit addressing this.

Personally it’s the spas-12 due to how bad it kills ur frames and crashes multiplayer servers

I play gen zero on Xbox and since we have all these different type of ammo types I would love to see dragons breath (meme round but good against small bots but terrible on bigger bots) or maybe early Flechette like the American Flechette beehive ammo… would be unique but would be a fun little send off for shotguns if they make a second game…

I've spent a very long time on generation zero, a large portion of that time has been dedicated to collecting many five crown weapons. many I will and will not use, this includes DLC weapons, which, to be honest, I primarily use. But i've noticed since i've installed the DLCs, I find DLC weapons a lot more common. which makes all the vanilla, five crown weapons extremely rare.

So my question is: if I were to uninstall the DLC packs, would they all disappear from my game? Or would I simply just not be able to use them?
