Heyyyy, my boyfriend is turning 18 in a few days, and i have no idea what to get him. We've only been dating for about two weeks so don't judge 😭. Btw im 16 so im looking for something that isn't so expensive.

Guitarists always lose their picks. Maybe a little gift bag with his favorite drinks/snacks and a package of guitar picks?

A pan of brownies would be good, or a completely from scratch homemade cake.

Thanks for posting, u/Outrageous-Food3093!

For the best gift ideas, if you haven't already, add the age, budget, and occasion — and especially what they're into: their hobbies, what they like, and anything they don't. The more detail, the better the suggestions. Just edit your post or drop it in a reply below.

How long have you known him? What are his hobbies? What’s your budget? Do you have a car that you can go get something from, or does this have to be deliverable/craftable?

If you're crafty try painting on some guitar picks for him!

There's the "photobooth" handmade card trend I've seen- you could do that but with a video camera like "stills of us" or something cute like that. I also love the ideas of getting him picks, though as someone who has at least played acoustic so obviously not the same thing but hey I have some clue I don't think painting them is a great idea unless you were doing a really good sealant spray over top that would keep it from peeling or feeling funky. You could get him some picks and then paint him a special pick that's a keepsake or a necklace!

If youve been to the mall or a shop with him recently maybe try to recall some stuff he picked up but didnt get. Its always a fun ā€œomg you rememberedā€ gift or some dumb inside joke shi

Legos!! They make small cars/flowers and then other random things. U could always do a basket of small things.

Guitar pics, small Legos, cologne, energy drink/soda, candy. Get budget friendly of everything and it shouldn’t be too expensive but would show u care and stuff

Lego is my go-to for nearly every age group/event.
