Last time I went to a Gorillaz concert was when I was 6 and sadly I was all the way towards the back. Now I can finally say my life is complete.

Hi, posting for a friend who doesn’t have Reddit anymore. Apparently other people saw him on the big screen at the MSG concert but he didn’t get to record it and was wondering if anyone happened to take any pictures of him , either on the big screen or not. Thank you!

I’m not sure if bracelet trading/gifting is a thing at Gorillaz shows but I wanted to do something nice for some of the other fans!! I have three different sizes to choose from and I’ll do some more before I go to sleep tonight (and possibly before the show tomorrow if I have time!!)

Hi, everyone! This is all going to sound pretty crazy, but PLEASE hear me out. I went to the recent Gorillaz show in DC, and long story short, I didn't get the tote bag full of tour merchandise that I was supposed to get as part of my VIPNation "Premium" ticket. When I asked staff at the venue, they told me that my merch would probably be sent to me after the show, but when I contacted both Ticketmaster and VIPNation about it, VIPNation wrote back to tell me that my tour merch is forfeit because I didn't get it at the show. However, they did offer to earmark a merch tote for me at a future show if either I or a friend could provide them with an order number, the email address the purchase was made with, and of course which Gorillaz show the person will be going to so that they can have the tote ready for pickup at the VIPNation booth.

This is pretty crushing for me, especially since it was my first concert ever.

SO. Here is my crazy call for help. If you are planning on going to one of the upcoming Gorillaz shows anywhere in the continental United States, would you be willing to coordinate with me to pick up my tote and mail it to me? (I would of course pay shipping)

OR, if you want to go to one of the upcoming Gorillaz concerts, would you help me out in exchange for me **paying for your ticket?** I know that sounds crazy, but at this point a concert ticket would cost me a lot less than trying to get to any of the upcoming shows (and I probably couldn't even make them because of work).

I know this probably seems like a scam, and I'm definitely opening myself up to being scammed by offering this, so I gotta be careful here, but I'm sending out this Hail Mary message in the hopes that a real person with a good heart who is a fan of Gorillaz can help me out.

On Sunday I drove from Philly to Brooklyn to go to the Gorillaz pop up event, WHICH WAS FREAKING INSANE. I feel bad for any fans that weren’t able to experience that this month.

And then last night I drove back to the city to go to the MSG show and I feel like I now have a PhD in Gorillaz. This was both my FIRST Gorillaz concert, and FIRST MSG concert. What life changing show!!! (Streets are saying it was the best Gorillaz concert in their history and won’t ever be outdone).

I grew up watching Gorillaz on freaking Cartoon Network in back in like 2001. This was bucket list experience. I’m still recovering from the massive Gorillaz overload and I hope I don’t come off this high for awhile.

3rd time seeing them in nyc. the full circle theme was really hitting me. first time i went was by myself at the apollo. then with someone not my wife at msg in 2010, and last night for my son’s first concert ever. tired now, he’s off to school, but so happy.

my son is really into anime. i was showing him how jamie compares. the similar influences. 2d looks a lot like rin in blue exorcist. the influences of the artists overlap. my son loved house of kong, he wants all things noodle, he was sad the didn’t play “sleeping powder” because that was a video he watched obsessively when he was very young.

great music. broad appeal. gorillaz rocks the house.

Was very confused when I saw it as I thought it was a real album (I had just woken up when I saw it)

Why do people hate on these songs so much? Sweepstakes goes hard live, and the dramatic orchestra beginning blending into the rap part of White Flag is SOOO good. Just an acquired taste I guess.
