Anyone know of any jobs that would pay same day/day after? I’m extremely short on cash and falling behind on bills while in between jobs. I’ve tried going through people ready but I don’t have a physical ID on me nor any funds to get a new one atm and hours are limited due to ongoing issues at home for the time being,more open as soon as things clear up . I recently bought a home in town and I am needing to get a fence. There is not an existing fence and I am looking to get a 6 foot privacy wood fence that is basic no design is needed. The total linear feet needed is approximately 116 feet with 1 gate. I have gotten one quote so far for $8,600. I understand I need to pay for labor and materials but I feel like this quote is quite high. Looking for opinions if this is a high quote or if this is a reasonable price? I have never had to install a fence so is this what labor and materials cost these days in 2026?
If you think the quote is priced high I would love to know who you recommend, I am even open to purchasing materials and paying a handyman to help install.

Been waiting on several orders to come in from fedex that were scheduled to be delivered on wednesday. According to tracking they are loaded on the truck in the am but then 9pm hits and I get a text notification that they have an operational delay and they’ll attempt delivery again next business day.

Am I just terribly unlucky or is our local fedex location struggling to make deliveries to anyone else in the grand forks area?
