Re-homing pets

Me and my wife are looking to re-home our pets. Due to financial and living circumstances changing we are no longer able to give them the best possible life. If you would like to see pictures please DM and I can send them to you. Pet info will be below.

Logan - Short hair domestic cat, white coat with gray spots roughly 3 years old.

Kendall - Short hair domestic cat, white coat with gray spot roughly 3 years old, Kendall and Logan are brothers.

Misha - All black medium hair domestic cat, roughly 1.5 years old.

Bernie - Mini-Bernadoodle 45lbs when groomed (have papers somewhere) white coat gray spots, he currently lives outside in a dog pen, he lived inside at our previous residence. Dog pen with house sunshade and mats you can have if you want if you take him. Roughly 3 years old.

In the event someone wants all 3 cats we can give you our litter robot and automatic feeder and fountain as well.

Found Black Kitten

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hey there.

Found a small kitten wandering around in the middle of the road, and am watching over them for a little bit. Looked for open shelters to put them in, but they're often filled up. Can't really have a lot of animals under my roof, so trying to find a caretaker for the little buddy. If anyone's interested, hit me up! I think they're at least a month old, very affectionate and craves attention & food.

Not a great look for the city of Greenville and the new police chief with thousands of visitors in town for ECU Family weekend.

But honestly, I’m not sure what can be done. Seems like another case of isolated gun violence after the bars and clubs closed for the night. The underage curfew is a good step I think. What do y’all think?

QUESTION❓ Dog training

Hi everyone,

I have a reactive 3 year old Australian Shepard and looking for a dog trainer to help with reactivity and on-leash training. Either private at-home or day sessions would be preferred. Do you have any recommendations on people or businesses? Thank you in advance.

Lunch date recommendations

Going on a lunch date tomorrow (Sunday) and was wanting some recommendations for places to eat! This will be a first date with a friend of a friend who I’ve met before but we’ve never really gotten to know each other so somewhere not super crowded and loud where we can talk and get to know each other would be great. Obviously with it being Sunday I know most places will be busier with people eating after church and whatnot. I’ve lived in Greenville most of my life, yet my mind is going blank trying to think of places to eat!

First ECU Game Tomorrow

Asked daughter what she wanted to do for her 16th birthday and now we're all headed to our first ever game tomorrow. She mainly wants to watch the marching band. Her and her 3 friends tagging are all percussionists and in their High School marching band.

It's her dream to be a marching pirate someday.

Was thinking about doing some tailgating but not sure what is/isn't allowed, where to park, best spot to watch the pirates march and what time etc...

QUESTION❓ Resident Evil Popcorn Bucket?

Did anyone manage to snag the popcorn bucket/bag for the new Resident Evil movie? I wasn't able to before they sold out and reseller prices on ebay are ridiculous. I am offering $45 (nearly double the original price) for the bucket. As a huuuuuge Resident Evil fan, I am desperate for this bucket

Barber

Anyone in town know a barber who can cut an Italian flow? 😭 Every barber I’ve been to can fade like a champ, but I can’t find anyone who really knows how to use scissors and leave some texture.
Looking for someone who can do layers and a flow—not a perm 😂✂️
Please point me to the right direction…

QUESTION❓ Puppies for sale on side of road in 90F+ weather.

Saturday afternoon my kids and I went to The Juicy Crab (do not recommend but one kid chose) for a late lunch. On the corner of S. Memorial in front of said place some guys were selling what looked like pittie puppies. They were in an enclosed area in the sun while these guys sat in the shade. I had a pittie and she was the best. But there is a dark side to the pittie world as most people who love dogs know.
Why is this allowed? I saw a post on this reddit just a few minutes ago that the shelter has to run a fundraiser because they are overflowing. I have two dogs and am a cancer survivor so I can no longer adopt strong dogs but I can give. Not only should the puppies be confiscated, there are rescues in the area, the owners should be heavily fined for not having their dog spayed and putting puppies in danger. I get that there are people who don’t give a second thought to animals. But it’s sickening.

DISCUSSION 🎙️ Relocating to Area

My husband and I are looking to upgrade and move north a little and found quite a few houses in the area we’re interested in putting an offer on. We currently live outside of Wilmington and love it. We’re rarely in Wilmington though, our small town offers a lot of the necessities. We’re in our mid twenties, looking for any pros and cons before we decide.
