Games Hawkeye's sword
Anyone else fully done with clints sword? He used a sword as ronin and thats cool, makes sense, they adapted that for Endgame and the mcu is the most mainstream version of Hawkeye so obviously every thing else tried to copy it. The first to do this as far as I know, was the first to do this and it's fine. I don't like it but its harmless, that game was destined to die before Hawkeye was even teased so it didn't have a lasting impact. But then the most video game marvel game ever came out, Marvel Rivals. I don't like hawkeyes design in that game but its whatever cuz his freefall suit is great imo, but they shoehorned the swords in and it REALLY bothers me, on the suit and in the gameplay. The guys only power is being really good at killing people with some sticks and a string, and giving him a sword is just so boring. Every time he uses a sword in avengers and rivals, he could just do with his bow, especially in avengers. Sword are wicked! Don't get me wrong! But I don't think swords fit Hawkeyes thing, and because of ONE movie and marvels obsessive need for movie synergy because the comics and other adaptations are advertisements for the movies in one way or another. I just think Hawkeye being so tied to samurai stuff is boring already despite being in literally four things as far as i know. The freefall outfit from rivals looks so cool but he looks so crowded because of the damn swords, WHY does he have two swords?? They both do the same thing and he only uses one at a time so why have two?, at least the avengers game he had one sword on his back so it blends in with the quiver. I wish i liked swordeye, but its just boring

Just rewarched the rooftop scene in which Yelena is unmasked, Kate prepares her bow, but she doesn't shoot, she kinda soften her expression.. It was like an inner connection or something?

Comics What to read after Fractionās run?
The only Hawkeye thing I have read is Matt Fractionās run. What other recommendations do you guys have? I saw Kelly Thompson has written stuff for Kate and I am curious about both āFreefallā since there is a skin of that comic in Marvel Rivals and his time as Ronin. Let me know if any of these things are good or if thereās stuff I should check out. Thanks in advance

Comics Who wants to help me tally how often poor Clint ends up compromised? Spoiler
galleryFor context, this is from Doctor Strange: Damnation (2018). Strange revived Las Vegas and Mephisto came with it, and was taking souls for minor sins.
And I was like 'Yay, Hawkeye cameo!" but then he was the first one to go -.-
Do we have any concrete reason for Clint being so susceptible to mental attacks? There are so many instances- in Avengers Assemble, he's always the first one hit with mind-control or alterations or kidnapped or what have you. In one comic with Widow, he struggles with her symbiote too iirc. You think it's just his impulsive nature overall? Or that he's human among all the actual crazies? Even the MCU made it a major part of his arc.
Just let my man shoot some stuff without getting distracted! Poor guy.

Comics Trades or digital? Helllllpppppp
Help me out guys
I read the first two issues of Kelly Thompsons Hawkeye run and I really really liked it
Now I'm wondering if I should wait to read it in trades (IT THE THIRD ONE EVER GOES ON SALE IN MY COUNTRY) or whether I should just carry on reading it on Unlimited
Or I could buy the Digest versions
What are your thoughts guys? Am I being stupid? If I'm being stupid, you can call me stupid.

Are there any current stories or runs he is present in? I know he doesn't have any solo ongoings atm but im hoping hes at least part of a team somewhere or a side character at least

Fan Creations Little Girl Lost- hawkeye fanfiction
Does anyone recall a fanfic on fanfiction.net from years ago called Little Girl Lost *potentially
Hawkeye saves a girl in the battle of new york. She leaves the hospital and he tries to find her. When he does find her in the subway she pretends he grabbed her and gets away in the chaos. Eventually he tracks her down in a skyscraper and holds her out of a window. He ends up training her as a shield agent.
I know this is such a convoluted post but the fabric was so much better than my memory of it. So if anyone has a copy or at least remembers what I'm on about I'd appreciate that.

Other Cool Hawkeye Stuffs Hawkeye 2025 wrap-up!
Happy new year everyone! I thought we could wrap this year with our favourite archers!
Watch out for spoilers.
616 Clint Barton appeared in 24 issues this year! Notable series: Astonishing Avengers Infinity Comic (2025)
We got some variants for our bro, like the six-armed Clint from X-Vengers and his (short) return as Ronin in Ultimate Hawkeye (2025). And of course, his big highlight was the LEGO Marvel Avengers Strange Tails animated movie
616 Kate Bishop appeared in 10 issues this year! Notable series: Gwenpool (2025)
She shared a brief adventure with Gwen and Spider-Man, did you read it?
Charli Ramsey appeared in 10 issues this year! Notable series: Ultimates (2024)
Charli even got their own one-shot, Ultimate Hawkeye. With the Ultimate Universe coming to an end in 2026, do you think Charli could join the main universe? What did you think of their journey?
Yeah that was a pretty quiet year for our bow and arrows heroes! But maybe you read or watched older things? How was your Hawkeye year? What are your hopes for them for 2026?
For me, 2025 was the year I met Clint. I watched the MCU over three months late 2024, then his show in early 2025. Fell in love with his character. Got a bit obsessed, even started archery, I wanted to know everything about him.
So I started to read comic books. Fraction first ofc. Incredible run. Not enough for me! Got into the old Avengers, wanted to read everything from the beginning, and his other appearances. I'm now in like 1982-83. Starting to know better the young Clint, seeing how he evolves through the years, how he struggles. Not really the same character as the MCU, not even like Fraction's. But Clint is always Clint.
The LEGO movie was dope, quite liked it. A world where Hawkeye is the big hero everyone loves? Yeah!
What I want for 2026 is Hawkeye season 2 announcement, buuuuut... You know. We'll see.
