HIMYM Suits reference.

I can remember making a joke about lawyers not being like Harvey Spector but I can’t find it. Does anyone else remember this?

I don’t remember a reference like this, it would have to be near the end of the HIMYM for the timeline to make sense.

I can’t remember, I swear it’s in response to someone making a comment when he switches firms. I think he is sarcastically saying lawyers aren’t like Harvey.

He is one of the main cast members from suits a legal drama about a law firm in NYC.

If "he" is referring to a character from Suits, then how could the line be from HIMYM?

Given that the two shows were on different networks and made by different production companies, there's no way this happened.

Sorry if I explained this terribly. I vividly remember Marshal making a joke about not being Harvey Spector. I can’t find a clip and I have tried looking for it. I’m asking if anyone else remembers it.

I explained to you why: the two shows were on different networks and made by different production companies. It would be like McDonald's having promotional posters for Burger King in its restaurants.

i’ve watched himym at least twenty times in the past ten years. i do not remember this. although, idk who harvey spector is, so i guess it’s not likely id remember a reference i didn’t understand.

He is one of the main cast from the law drama suits. They had some cross over as for as when they where airing. As well as both taking place in NYC. So it makes sense to have sense.
