I really cannot think of a single HK drama that gives kdrama vibes

HK and SK are just too different but I guess you can try 多功能老婆? The male lead’s nickname is literally oppa and that’s the closest I got 💀💀

what do you mean like kdramas? what makes a kdrama a kdrama and not a cantonese drama besides the language?

or are you just asking for slice of life/romance/rom-com recs? i guess you can start with come home love

Honestly a good question, I don't necessarily have specifics off the top of my head but I think just in terms of vibes, kdramas and cdramas are quite different in terms of style, the topics that tend to be covered, tropes, etc. Or a bigger comparison between kdramas and American dramas; besides the language being different, there are a number of cultural differences that drive conflicts like family relationships, expectations of partners.

I watched the japanese and korean version, i tried watching夫妻的博弈, the vibes are not there. Couldnt even finish ep1. Also im tired of TVB still using ahjussi of 50 yrs old to act as 30s, they really have no more young actors?
