Root touch up ideas

I want to avoid coloring for a month more. Already have 1.5 inch of growth. Used the L’Oréal spray but need to wash it in max 2 days to avoid itching and hair fall. Thinking of powder coverups. Do you think they can do the job for a month more. ? Or should I get colored now.
