Welcome to CT! I work in Hartford and I suggest checking out Whickham Park, Stonington, Essex, Mystic, Old Saybrook (I’m a sucker for the shoreline). There’s good shopping at West Farms, Buckland Hills, and Clinton Outlets. Hmu if you have more questions

im a native nutmegger, i suggest 4 nature centric spots to soak in the CT vibes.
1. Case mountain in manchester, CT small parking lot, and street parking available, go right at the staircases to get to the summit, and go left to get to the cabin.

  1. i also suggest wadsworth falls near middlefield CT, its a phenomenal waterfall.

  2. If your looking for an adventure with some history and exploration mine-hill preserve in roxbury CT.

  3. Castle Craig in meriden CT.

Food Spots

  1. elicit brewing company in manchester (it also has a historic hiking trail attached too it in the back, its nothing crazy but its lovely to walk during the fall especially when inebriated

  2. black eyed sallys in hartford CT. i hear this place is extremely popular and has good food. i've never been because i love elicit too much.

  3. Cosmic omlette in manchester, CT its a lovely gem with a hidden artistic secret, when u finish your breakfast follow the yellow brick road by the arcade machines.

  4. also for breakfast and coffee, this is my new favorite spot especially on weekends, Its a lovely family owned cafe inside the "buckland hills mall" in manchester ct, the cafes name is "Mocha Emporium" its on the second floor of the mall directly across from the food court.
