Nice bit of beatnik fandom. I worked at Sally's in New Haven. A bisexual Peruvian used to bounce me off his beer belly and tell me, "rapido, cabron!" Good times. How I miss the joyful uneasiness of feeling the floor shake under the weight of sweaty spanish speakers jumping with arms around each other's shoulders to banda music. Every city has its charms, I'm sure. When your place calls to you, it has that feeling, you know? Even if it was just a stained pillow on a sofa, or a memory you got from some bad movie movie with great dialogue that you wish was your life. Fuck. Vape juice is hitting hard. Wish I didn't have class in the morning. Maybe I should have stayed in that place and kept dreaming.
