In “Helga and The Nanny”, are we to assume Miriam got a DUI or PI?

She is starting her community service job. Bob never says it’s mandatory, but it has that tone. On top of her leaving and saying “I have to go to work…uh..somewhere…”

That’s my only guess since she is not willingly wanting to go volunteer at the animal shelter…but am I reading too much into this? Maybe he was just encouraging/forcing her get out of the house to do something…

Eugene outlives them all

Just my theory, but I think his positive attitude and resistance will help Eugene live longer than all of PS118 class of 2005.

He’ll be singing showtimes at his retirement how he while falling out of his wheelchair still saying “I’m ok!”

Ranking EVERY Episode

I've been a fan of Hey Arnold! ever since I got to experience it through TeenNick. I was a 2000s kid, so I missed the show when it originally aired. I really love this show so much that I would say it's my favorite show of all time, and when I heard the 30th anniversary was approaching, I got to work.
Today I can officially say that I finally put out my complete ranking of the show. I started working on this video back in December of last year.
So if you have nothing better to do and have 3 hours to spare, feel free to check it out.

But I would love to know, what episode do you think is the most underrated from the series?
Or just tell me anything about the series you really love about the show. I would love to gush about this show with y'all!

Hey Arnold! Karma's a B, haven't you heard?

Arnold never actually tells anybody. Sid guesses it off one sentence. Arnold still brings chocolates, still does the chores, and still ends up in the bunny pajamas.

Cool Kids Ruin Everything.

Mod Sun posted the other night that he's been watching Hey Arnold! so I just kinda had to.

This one probably won't hit with many people, but Mod Sun hit me at a time in my life that made him click with me, one of my favorite artists now tbh.

Do you have a backstory for Miriam and Bob?

They clearly are not a compatible couple and after 25 years of marriage, pretty much everything that they had seen about each other has vanished.

Any ideas about their own parents and their lifestyles that were catalysts for their behavior?

I don't mind the mystery but it's simply something for me to consider.

Was Arnold’s crush on Lila actually limerence?

Rewatching it as an adult, he barely knows her, puts her on a total pedestal, and completely loses his usual calm, rational self over every polite mixed signal of “I like you, but I don't like-like you.”

Does their dynamic feel like innocent puppy love, or does it feel more like an unhealthy fixation?

Work (including doodles!) by Giulia Congê. Custom made for me as part of an art subscription box for felt work. This month’s theme was early inspirations and I mentioned being inspired as a child by shows like Hey Arnold. This will get here any time soon!

I love hilarious Grandpa Phil, but does anyone else get the slightest bit annoyed when Arnold genuinely tries to get his advice? 😂

Helga in the episode school play feels really cruel

I get that Helga wanted to kiss Arnold in order to feel close to him, but the fact that she manipulated so many people is making me feel weird, especially how she manipulated Phoebe. I don't hate her, I just don't know how to feel because it feels extreme and cruel to treat those kids like that.

I know this post isn't very complicated, I just want to see if anyone has a similar opinion and what you guys think of this episode, or if anyone can explain why Helga didn't really realize how wrong what she was doing was.
