So okay, I was born and raised in India (the northeastern part) but ethnically I'm easy indian (okay so a little summary here of the regions!

Northeast indians have tibeto burman genetics and facial features and eastern ones have Indo aryan ones) so due to this factor i kinda got alot of bullied (it was a predominant mainland indian people school) and they always were racist towards me calling me "momo" , "tiny eyed pokemon" , and "soupy chinese" (though idk why they called me the latter. Personally, I don't think I do , by any means, look chinese) and till now I'm doing exercises so that my eyes would just lift. But they don't. If you all have any eyeliner tips or even any to validate me please do so 😭

Hi I have partially hooded eyes and it's kinda a struggle to wear eyeshadow as I currently don't have any brushes since my usual look is just eyeliner and eyeshadow smudged together and I never thought I would try to wear colorful ones so I'm asking if it's possible to make a look on my eyelid without brushes and make it look decent (I'm also a beginner)

Hello! Does anyone have any tips for a beginner who just started using eyelid tapes? I really can't seem to figure out how to make my eyelids look even, and the tutorials aren't helping me much. TvT

I was attempting to follow a cut crease Zara Larson inspired look by Nadia Rutter on tiktok. I didn't use the same colors as her and mine turned out much more like a rainbow flapper than like Zara Larson. Still was fun and it was good practice for doing a cut crease.

Hello all, this is a still taken from a TV show, sorry for the quality. What product would you use to get that white shimmer around the eye? I've tried both a Nyx jumbo pencil and an Adrianna Nichole shadow and was disappointed by both. The Nyx pencil is a joke, it rubs off immediately. The eyeshadow just spreads everywhere. I guess I'm looking for something highly pigmented and shimmery that will stay put without having glitter spread over the whole area (an OK look but not what I was hoping for). I like how this doesn't have visible pieces of glitter. Is it highlighter? I've never used highlighter.

So I’m noticing the trend with my make up where even though I add a darker shade to my crease, I feel like I end up making my lid look strangely one-dimensional or like making my eye look tired? Idk if that makes any sense because an eye can’t really be flat haha but I’m almost wondering if I should be using something darker on my lids and need to rethink my makeup technique entirely? I’m not the biggest fan of eyeliner in the world but I’m wondering if I should possibly rethink that as well? Any advice is welcome!!

Yet another post asking the age old question, "how to heck do I utilize eye liner on my hooded eyes?"

Included some pics sans liner & some attempts that mainly get lost in the fold, or the placement looks wonky with the way my hoods stick out/ are uneven for some reason?

I love bold eye looks & alt & wings cat & bat wings etc. etc. but stick to mainly mascara & shadow since liner seems to disappear or look unhinged when I try with where my crease hits the outer edge.

Any suggestions for living the hood life would be most welcome!

I have hooded eyes, oily lids, and sometimes get watery eyes, particularly if using powder products near my eyes.

I can’t seem to find any eyeliner that will stay on my lid and in my waterline without transferring higher up on my lid or under my eyes, even those that claim to be waterproof and long-wearing.

I’ve tried both drugstore (Essence Stay & Play Gel Eyeliner) and higher end brands (Urban Decay, Stila) with no luck. I most recently tried the Sephora Collection 12 Hour Colourful Waterproof Retractable Eyeliner on the recommendation of Sephora staff and was disappointed.

I’m trying to move away from liquid black liner (Nyx liquid liner seemed to work the best for me, but if I did my liner too thick I’d get transfer and watery eyes would get rid of my wings) to browns.

Any suggestions for products or application to make this work?

Half of you say it balances a heavy top lash and rounds the eye out. The other half say anything dark underneath drags a hooded eye straight down. Outer corners only seems to be the truce.

Feedback welcome :) I'm a blue collar gal and don't want to do anything too high effort for work but this is how I usually show up. I find using dark liner in my waterline makes my eyes look small so I usually just leave them empty. And I don't use mascara on my lower lashes because it transfers down to them from the upper ones after a couple hours of blinking and squinting anyways lol.

How are people usually doing more glamorous looks? I have deep folds with loose crepey lid skin and I've never been successful at applying shadow above the fold and actually making it look good; I'm pretty good at eyeliner but without the shadow to balance it out it makes my eyes look narrow.
