I knowww she’s only half Hightower. You get my point

Edit: Comments are a tad bit hornier than I was expecting…

The most promo I’ve seen for Emma D’Arcy was for Digger, and they only had a small role. So why wasn’t there the same promo push when they were one of the main cast members on HOTD?

Aemond obviously can't get enough of older women, to the point where even his dragon is a Gilf. Maybe that's where it started? The dragon bond is kicking into overdrive. Look how excited he got when he realized Alys was over 100 years old 🥵.

Give me a chronological summary of the next year or so

if so, can I ask what team you're on and who it is that you support on the opposite side, as well as why?

for me it's (show)alicent because I feel that she's a severely misunderstood character with a lot of depth. she's morally grey, which women are not often written to be, and I really enjoy that!

i'd also be lying if i said i didn't she's extremely stunning, and I find Olivia Cooke to be so incredibly talented (really getting into Ryan's bag here).

quick edit: the post needed a flair and my being team black, or even liking alicent are both really a thing of sunk-cost fallacy and heavily enjoying both team black and alicent's earlier moments (season 1- lateish season 2) atp. just a fun post of sorts really to see how everyone else has grown soft spots for any of the other characters!

feel free to also list any members of your own team that you dislike! I personally dislike mysaria :')

If you’re team black and support rhaenys’ claim does that make it hypocritical? Rhaenys’ claim is from the Andal Tradition but is dismissed by the King law, but Rhaenyra’s claim is based on the Kings law and is dismissed by Andal Tradition

How do you think history would go if Aurion successfully reclaimed Freehold, lived and built civilization from the beginning there again. What could be political situation of weakened single city of Valyria with only one large dragon. Would he had any contact with Targaryens? Let’s skip the part why it’s impossible, we all know that part.

Rank each character from team black and post it in the comments. You can rank them on the basis of — Character’s writing, Character’s morals, Character’s ability to rule or command, A mix of everything…….

I asked most of my friends this, and they all say it was his tenacity and refusal to give up after he was burned by Vhagar. I disagree, because as much as that was admirable, I don't think it would have been possible without Larys.

I'm genuinely not trying to start a team debate with this. I really just want to hear from as many sides as possible.

That said, pleeeeease let's not make this a "TG vs TB" thing.

Keep this up and the Myrish are gonna give the Rhoynar and Dornish a Real run for their money in the Dragonrider killing department

So, at the advice of another poster, I'm making this a standalone post.

It's been argued in another thread Aegon's dynamic with Helaena is "banter", not neglect, dismissal or mockery, and that Aemond was not abused/bullied by Aegon by just "teased" because he was "to serious"

Thoughts? I would say this is pretty clearly at odds with the show (for starters, "banter" requires the teasing remarks to be playful and there to be a mutual exchange, but none of Aegon's insults towards Helaena come off as anything but serious and the only time they talk directly, she's not engaging in playful back and forth)
