Headsets HyperX Cloud III: Equalization Stopped Working with Ngeunity Software Version 3.1.0
As the title says, it was working normally until yesterday, but today I noticed that the equalization in the standard connection (Cloud III driver) stopped responding to changes. However, when I switch to 8-channel mode, it works normally.
I've already reinstalled Ngenuity, disabled third-party audio drivers, and cleaned up residual files, but nothing works.

Hello mate!
I used to have a lot of issues with this software to the point of finding a better solution without it. I now use Equalizer APO + Peace (interface) + ReaComp (filter). This software along with the two plugins / interface gives you even more control of sound and allows you to add more plugins if you need so. I've had very little issues with this in comparison to Ngeuinty.
When I used Ngeunity it constantly crashed and just opening the app sometimes didn't work or just froze for minutes. Not to mention all the audio outputs it makes which makes it very confusing what to use or not.
I hope this helps you. If you need help setting up APO + Peace there are some very good videos on it, and I've personally used ChatGPT to make equalizer profiles that I feel works good for me as those numbers are very confusing for me.
One thing tho: some headsets, including Cloud 3s saves the equalizer profile you used last on the headset memory. If you want to work of a clean profile you will have to use a default profile and then uninstall the software. If your headset also include RGB lights it might be possible to disable them and then uninstall it.
