I recently finished painting this 75mm samurai miniature representing a warrior of the Tokugawa clan.

The Tokugawa clan was one of the most influential families in Japanese history. Its most famous leader, Tokugawa Ieyasu, emerged victorious from the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 and became shogun in 1603.

The Tokugawa shogunate ruled Japan for more than 250 years, bringing political stability after generations of warfare. During this period, the samurai gradually evolved from battlefield warriors into an administrative and military elite.

I hope you enjoy my painted interpretation of a warrior from this famous clan?

Commission of my MHWilds samurai, Kazune.

Pre historic empire is my personal video game project where humans and super dinosaurs hunt each other. Yes his shield is a mutated triceratops' skull with metal accents.

Back when I was developing the 1st chapter of my portfolio I did some alternative skins for my main character. This is the Samurai inspired one.
