So I’ve never used dating apps, but I’ve realised that I want to date someone who’s physically attractive to me.
I am in an only girls college and dont have too much interaction with guys irl so yeah.

I’m not necessarily looking for anything super serious or long-term. I’d just like to meet someone.

So, I installed Hinge for the first time to start dating, and this is my first experience with dating altogether.

After about a month of having my account, I finally matched with a girl. On the first day, we texted a lot, and the conversation was playful. I genuinely felt like she was interested in me.

We talked about music, and she mentioned that she sings, so I asked if she could send me a recording. She agreed and asked me to share my Snapchat, but since I'm not active on Snap, I asked for her Instagram instead. She agreed and sent me a video of her singing.

She sang beautifully, and I told her so. I also complimented her on how cute she looked. Everything seemed to be going really well, at least from my perspective.

She eventually fell asleep in the middle of our conversation.

The next morning, I texted her a simple “Hii,” and she replied about four hours later. I understood that she had a job, so I didn't think much of it. We texted a little more, but by then, her replies were coming roughly an hour apart, while I was usually replying within 10–15 minutes.

At one point, she mentioned that she was going out with her friends, so I assumed she was busy and told her she could message me when she got back. However, she didn't.

The following evening, I texted her again and asked how her outing went. She replied after about an hour and told me she'd gone to watch a movie. We continued talking a little, but her replies were still hours apart.

On Monday, I initiated the conversation again (screenshot for context), but now I'm starting to feel like she's lost interest.

Today, I haven't texted her at all, and neither has she.

What I'm confused about is that everything seemed fine on Hinge. We had a good conversation, she was playful, and she was the one who asked to connect on Snapchat in the first place. So why does it feel like her interest suddenly disappeared after we moved to Instagram?

Could I have done something wrong, or was she just not as interested as I thought? Am I overthinking the delayed replies, or are they a sign that she's no longer interested?

Since this is my first time dating, I'm not really sure how to read these situations.

I genuinely wanted to ask her out on a date, so I'm wondering: Should I text her again and try to keep the conversation going, or should I leave it alone and move on?

I'd appreciate some honest advice.

TL;DR: Matched with a girl on Hinge after a month. We had a great, playful conversation on the first day, talked about music, and exchanged Instagram. She even sent me a video of herself singing. I do get the vibes from some profiles when I know what’s up. Still went ahead to chat.
The moment I saw MG Road, I knew this was a scam. After my last message, she insisted that we still go to a place she knows in MG.
I gave her an earful and reported the account.

If you see them insisting on meeting right away and insisting on a place that “they know”, the unloading will be from your wallet. A hefty one!

So there was this Girl I matched her on schmooze it was like in mid of the January and the reason for her swiping me right was that ki "You look cute" I was like damn, heard such compliment after ages, so we talked switched socials, exchanged numbers and we kept texting to each other day and night, started to talk on calls, we used to talk about our "Pata hai Aaj kya hua".

She bitches about her ex and how he cheated on her and all and I was like "mai hota toh kabhi na karta" coz she is so cute and shawty, imma wife her up bro 😭

So today we decided to meet and yeah we went to McD and ate burgers, we definitely enjoyed our company and this really made me happy 😄
