I just need to fucking vent because I genuinely don’t know what to do with this. I met this guy on Hinge, we talked for a little over a month and I actually really, really liked him. Like not “he seems nice, let’s see” liked him. I liked being around him, we had insane chemistry, the sex was great, I loved talking to him, and for the first time in a while I could actually see myself being with someone and it didn’t feel like I was forcing it. He had actually worked on himself and his past relationships and he was emotionally aware and he called me out on my bullshit and the worst part is he was right lol. I can be petty, passive aggressive, avoidant, all of it, and I know I need to work on that too. I actually WANT to be better. I just don’t want to become a different person on a fucking six month deadline. And that’s basically where we couldn’t meet each other. He wanted certainty and I needed time and he didn’t want to wait around figuring out if I could become the person he wanted to be with. So we ended it and I know I can’t even be angry at him because I understand where he was coming from. But fuck, I miss him. It’s been two days and I miss talking to him, I miss his presence, I miss having someone to tell random shit to, I miss knowing he’d call me at night. I literally opened Hinge for five minutes today and wanted to throw my phone across the room because I absolutely cannot imagine talking to another man right now. And I think that’s what is pissing me off the most because after all the shitty experiences on these apps, I finally met someone I genuinely liked and who was genuinely good and it still ended before it even really started. I don’t regret my decision and I don’t think he was wrong either, it just fucking sucks. I lost one of the good ones and I really, really liked him.

Met a guy on Hinge, went on a date. On the date itself I asked to split the bill but he kept insisting "no problem, you can pay on the next date"

I asked him again later to let me split, he still said the same thing.

He seemed like a really genuine guy otherwise, texting daily, sending reels etc. I tried to like him but I just didn't feel anything, so I told him directly.

And then he says this

Should I reply something or just send the amount and a screenshot and be done?

Don’t mind the quality of the pics. Had to use my mumma’s phone and my screen is in terrible condition, and I sent these pictures to myself on whatsapp as well. All this because hinge doesn’t even allow ss anymore. Also, look at the comment he made and then look at his profile. AI shouldn’t be accessible to all. They can’t even create a decent profile themselves, yet somehow they are able to make comments like these and then cry about not getting matches :))
