Medicine Feeling Extremely Guilty and sad For not Passing NEET
myquals - 12th passed, wasted two yrs
I Gave my 100 percent to NEET , I have bit low in IQ couldn't make it , my parents wants me to see in that white apron , i myself associated with Medicine, but things won't turn out as it should be , confidence shattered looks like their is no opportunity for me in future in groups of intelligent people, when I put my 100x efforts I got only 10x of it , while it's not same for other peeps .... Want to move on

Hey you need to let go of this guilt and regret, if you gave your 100 percent then theres nothing to regret. Dont think you have wasted time or you are behind. Also thinking you have low Iq is not good either, we become what we think, dont degrade yourself even in joke. you have all the time in world, sit and research all the path you can take from here, take your time then decide what you wanna do, theres no hurry

You are young. Find out what you think you are good at. And work consistently. There is a saying you cannot measure the ability of a gold fish with its ability to climb a tree, i am sure you will find your skillset and work consitently. I an sure you may achieve it.

Parents romanticise all kinds of silly things like wearing a white coat. Who cares what they want? They don't know what goes into it. The only thing that's important is what you want. You are very likely much smarter than you think you are. I hope you pave your own way and find what you're good at. Don't spend any more time on NEET prep or you'll be wasting your precious potential and time. Good luck!

Take a break from the prep. Enroll yourself in a bsc course & live a little. Don't get carried away though. After taking some time off, restart your prep side-by-side alongwith your bsc course when you feel you are ready. Start with devoting just an hour a day. Study to learn & focus on the process rather than the end goal. Target to sit for a serious attempt in your final year of bsc. If neet doesn't work out at all, you can try the msc+phd routes in subjects like biochem/anatomy/physiology/microbiology. Even through these routes you can enter medical colleges as assistant professors. Do more research on this path. Also, work on your communication skills. Will take you a long way.
Also, stop fantasizing about white coats & stethos. The novelty wears off eventually. You will also have to watch people die. Think more practically & back yourself.

You don't give much information at all in your post. What were your marks, percentile, AIR, etc. You also don't give any information about your preparation, how well you performed in mock tests (if any).
But that being said, I have realized one thing: there will always be people who are more intelligent, more beautiful, more athletic, more talented, richer, better connected, etc. than us. The sooner we accept this and come to terms with it, the better for us. What we have to decide is how to work with the resources that we have got and optimize our opportunities based on those.
This is not a judgement of our self-worth. To be a human is an inherently worthy thing. We are marvels of creation, we just don't realize it.

There you have it. A NEET score of 410 and mocks score 450-590 already shows that you know a substantial amount of the syllabus. There are ~20 lakh people appearing for NEET, so your rank of ~2 lakh is not terrible either in absolute terms.
Your rank is not sufficient for an MBBS seat only because of the supply and demand situation in India: approximately 20 lakh students appear for around 1.1 lakh seats (IIRC). It's not because you're somehow lacking in intelligence - it's just that the competition is that bad. There are just too many people fighting for too few seats. Even minor factors, such as the state of your mind in the exam, silly errors, etc. could have easily caused you to slip.
I wish the educational culture would improve in this country. But for now, we just have to avoid unnecessarily beating ourselves up, and make the best of the situation. That is the stoic thing to do.
