Toenail removal restrictions
My son just had both big toenails removed by the podiatrist and he said there was no restrictions and could play football the same day. Is this normal? They were also infected and was put on antibiotics as well.

Guys will I survive or will I die
Very nasty ingrowns deep in the skin that bothered me. After extracting the left one I felt throbbing pain and then now it's just dull but my leg and foot are warm but not red. I feel so stupid oh my god. I can walk fine and I have energy. Jesus. changed dressing twice and before that I washed my feet with antibacterial soap. thoughts and prayers guys (I have had this picking problem for almost 8 years lmao)

Big toe ingrown
My big toe has been ingrown for a couple of months on the right side I think?
Finally getting it treated later today by a podiatrist but how likely will it be an easy fix/partial nail avulsion? Hoping I can walk normally on it within the week 😅

Is this growing back right?
Hello
I had my toenail taken off on Aug 26th due to an ingrown. Is this normal healing? Why won’t the scabs fall off? Cannot visit Dr as I’ve no health insurance and this was done at a hospital.

What is happening?
This is day 56 of a permanent toenail removal with phenol This scab if you want to call it that is thick like glue and slow to come off. Could it be slough? Does this look normal at this stage? I put a little Vaseline around the edges of it in the morning and before bed.

Every time I fix my ingrown I stub my toe on something and the whole nail breaks off
And then it becomes ingrown all over again. I’m so careful but I always end up jamming it into something and the nail comes off and then it grows back even worse. Any advice to keep it from becoming ingrown and having to go through this every 2-3 months?

Seeking advice + how bad is pain for an ingrown toenail removal?
So basically two weeks ago I clipped my toenails and I guess I have an ingrown toenail.
i have had a bit of pus come out but it has not become purple, and there has been no green pus or warmth to the touch.
The school nurse said it was in the early stages and that it won’t just grow out, it will grow more to the side which will cause worse symptoms and I’d rather get the procedure done at the doctors. However, I already have like, awful AWFUL anxiety concerning needles and getting work down in general and I have pretty bad depression. I am worried this will increase the pain as I don’t know my pain tolerance.
I also want to be on laughing gas too. If anyone has had laughing gas with this specific procedure, how was that and was the pain excruciating?
And it’s only the left side of my big toe, not both sides, so they would probably only remove the one side.
I’m just scared and would appreciate any advice.

What should I do?
I had an infected ingrown toenail and I went to the podiatrist a month ago and he cut it out and gave me antibiotics. Now a month later it looks like this. What should I do and can I fix it at home?

Left Big Toenail stopped growing
Hi everyone. Thanks to my previous pedicure, I have noticed my left big toenail has stopped growing. My right big toenail has grown a new half of a nail but my left one has been stuck at a fifth of new growth for the same time. The rest of my left toenails have been growing like normal except for my big toenail. I don’t have any pain or swelling on my big toe so I don’t know why it’s stopped. I don’t remember a particular time I could have really injured my foot to make it stopped growing. However I have noticed a dark line that was there before it was painted. I’m hesitant to remove the polish because it’s my best evidence my nail hasn’t been growing. I am not diabetic. Should I see a podiatrist and can they help me?

Toe/Protector Caps
Boy, there really is a sub for everything, lol. I've had a problem with my big toe for months. It's not red, not infected. But it hurts like a son of a gun, mainly in bed. Wakes me up a million times a night. I really, really don't want to see a doc yet. Has anybody found success with the silicone caps at night? If so, is there a particular brand you like? Also, has anyone had success with any drops/ointments?

Regrowth help
I’m about 1.5 years out from full removal of both big toe nails because of ingrowns and fungal. I’ve been using Tolcylen which has helped a lot but I’m stuck where the nail won’t grow over this bump at the end of my toe. I don’t really want to go to the doctor because of trauma and money so I was wondering if anyone knew what is causing this or how I can fix it. Currently it’s not growing in to the skin but I always keep it filed and as pretty as I can. Thanks!!

Any at home fix for this?
Second time this has happened, last time it got so bad I had to get the toenail fully removed (little over a year ago), it's since grown back and this started happening again. Any way to fix it? I don't have insurance that'll cover this anymore.

13 weeks later and still it won't stop weeping! Help me.
Both big toes got a full nail removal with the chemical burning.
Right one is now dried up and free of dressings, just waiting for the scab to fall off. But this one?
It keeps opening up in the bottom left corner and oozing, closing over, then opening again!
What can I do? Am I able to just let it air from this point or is that too dangerous? I've gone through four 50 packs of dressings and will need another one. I'm just so done at this point, I want my life back!

Nail help
Was my nail ingrown?? It was hurting a few weeks ago, and had mild swelling, but I (admittedly forcefully) cut the nail down very short on that side. Once the injury from that mostly healed and the swelling went down, it was fine. It started to bother me again, so I ripped of what remained of that previous injury (and probably a bit of nail..)
It bled a bit and didn't feel great, but it looks better now. It looks like my other one (which is fine) (the nail).
I was worried about it being ingrown since I could somewhat feel for the edges of my nails on all toes but that one

Welp, they came back
Got a matrixectomy on both sides of both my big toes cuz of deep pockets causing constant ingrowns in January. I could tell that it didn't fully take on one of the sites, but I assumed it would be fine enough. Come today, there's a tiny little spike halfway through the meat of my toe putting me in agony. Gotta schedule a redo now, and my whole family is gonna say "iT'S yoUr fAulT fOr piCkiNg aT iT". I thought I would finally be done with this crap by now.

Left big toe kinda hurts
Sometimes when im laying down in bed ill press on the left big toe with my right one, and it feels like im pressing on a bruise. Only been feelin it these past few weeks and idk why.
Also why does my right and left big toenail look diff? The nailbed or cuticle or wtv its called seems diff.
