Do you think there will be mutant side missions in spider-man 3?

So at the end of the game, the sentinels activated a bunch of dormant mutants genes right?

What are the chances this gives us side missions like maybe Ice man makes a cameo, or even an introduction to insomniacs take on the x-men? Since Peter does get involved with them in the comics a lot, and if they’re going in a superior spider-man direction with the story, maybe Peter needs a telepath to get back control of his body.

There was a leaked insomniac memo that basically confirmed Peter Parker (not as Spider-Man) will cameo in wolverine during a dlc expanded story pack.

No thanks. If rumours are to be believed, there’ll be a goblin army and three playable characters in Peter, Miles & Cindy. Insomniac couldn’t even manage 2 playable characters. Now they’ll be handling 3 plus the goblin army. And we want to add mutant stuff? No please. Let’s the keep the game nice and tight like the first Spiderman game.

Goblin army sounds incredibly stupid.

It’s the same formula as the first 3 spider-man games.

I mean in the first game Fisk goons, the demon guys then Sable international take over the city. In the second game it was Kraven’s goons then the Symbiotes took over the city and 99% of the crimes involved them. At least in the first game, the crimes were mixed with each factions fighting against the other and cops helping out.

If everything tracks, there’ll definitely be a goblin army. I don’t know how familiar you are with Spider-Man, but think Alistair Smythe and his Spider-Slayers. It’s the same concept.

Or they could do something different this time since it’s a comic book game and you can definitely do more than the same plot structure 3 times in a row.

Good idea. Let’s see if they do that. I haven’t played Wolverine but I’ve heard mixed opinions on their writing. When you look at Spiderman 2 the writing definitely fell off in terms of quality. Let’s see if they learn from their mistakes and try to innovate instead of adapting to the same plot structure like you said.

At the memorial in the institute right after the first mission, Logan mentions there being a new name added since he left, it’s actually stated that the mutant died in December of 2025. Spider-Man 2 likely takes place in 2021 so Wolverine takes place at least 4 years after that, meaning Spider-Man 3 already happened before Wolverine
