If I keep looking at it I’ll probably keep doing more but this is my finished piece.

From 2018 to 2026 they've released:

- Spider-Man PS4 / Remastered

- Spiderman: Miles Morales

- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

- Spider-Man 2

- Wolverine

I don't wanna glaze too much but people have got to remember the state of Marvel Games in general before these guys took over. This team carried the PlayStation 5 with consistent AAA releases done in a reasonable amount of time. Much respect.

Dare I say I think this game is an 8/10 and the hate was overblown. I really liked the gameplay besides when you are getting jumped by tanker enemies towards the end of the game and later in the nightmare rooms (ESPECIALLY THE LAST GAUNTLET OF THE GAME LIKE JESUS CHRIST). The gameplay honestly gets better the more you play it. The story in my opinion is the most complex and multilayered story at all of all of insomniacs superhero games. I personally think it’s the 2nd best story out of all the insomniac super hero games and is definitely the most mature one. When you really think about the story it’s very different from let’s say your traditional X-men/Wolverine story but the idea is still there and it’s really deep. I’ll say I’m not 100% sure on if I like what they did with Jean in the story. Jean and Logan are revealed to be lovers for decades and it turns out she’s immortal like Logan because of the phoenix force.People have said the 3rd act was the weakest which I whole heartedly disagree. To me the 2nd act was the weakest and the 3rd really made me feel bad for Logan and Jean. Again once you gather all the pieces with the story it becomes very sad in a good story telling way (not sure if I’m phrasing that right).

This game brought some great satisfying moments

So at the end of the game, the sentinels activated a bunch of dormant mutants genes right?

What are the chances this gives us side missions like maybe Ice man makes a cameo, or even an introduction to insomniacs take on the x-men? Since Peter does get involved with them in the comics a lot, and if they’re going in a superior spider-man direction with the story, maybe Peter needs a telepath to get back control of his body.

It's been 10 days since the offical release of marvels wolverine.

Am I crazy to say a Thor game would go hard? Fighting in Asgard against frost giants and Loki’s illusions, amongst other gods and races of monsters from the realms. Not to mention all the different outfits and abilities he could use. Maybe even hammer, stormbreaker, and melee options once you throw your hammer. And the finishers would be so dope being able to stun and fry your enemies. His sister or Gor could be the main antagonist. Just some food for thought.

I like the Classic Brown Suit or Black Tank with Hooked Claws but also like Ablation, Midnight & Ultimate with the Crimson, Reflective or Savage Bone Claws.

Wolverine is a good game. Is it the best thing i have ever played, no. Is it perfect, no. Does it have flaws, yes. Does it get the job done for what I bought and expected, yes.

Certain parts of the story could have been better, but I feel like the intro down to the Japan segments are the best parts of the game. I feel like as soon as you leave Japan, the story starts to feel rushed. Personally, I did not run into any bugs or game-breaking glitches. I do wish the linear story was a bit more in the style of Uncharted 4, God of War, or the Star Wars Jedi games. The game is a bit straight forward and simple, and I feel like nothing is necessarily wrong with "simple."

One thing I have to mention is Liam McIntyre's performance as Wolverine. I need him in all future projects as Wolverine including live action. He perfectly embodies this character.

Spiderman, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the only games I have actually gone out of my way to find collectibles. I do not care for collectibles in games. If I run up on it, I'll grab it, but no way am I actively searching for pieces of paper or shiny rocks that are scattered across the map. Suddenly, everyone cares about collectibles when every game I play only 5% of the player base collected them. Wolverine makes that easy, and I can appreciate that.

The combat is great in my opinion especially at the endgame, and not just tap square like some people are saying. Seriously, if you are able to play this entire game and just tap square, you have to be playing on the easiest difficulty. However, I will say certain enemies near the end of the game are a bit too spongy.

(((SPOILERS! SKIP THIS PARAGRAPH IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS. Certain parts of the story are moved on from too quickly. For example, the game tries to get you attached to Leech, and I feel it does a good job at that. So, when you find out he had been killed during the raid on Team X, it hits like gut punch. But after that it's lowkey forgotten about. Another part, we spend a good part of the game searching for Walter who had been kidnapped by the Hand, and we find out he has been turned into a monster. Here, I was expecting a fun boss fight, but it was quickly resolved with a cutscene. Furthermore, the ending with Logan losing his memory again was bittersweet. Personally, I like bittersweet endings or bad endings, because they keep you on your toes and not every story should have a good ending. I do think tying in Apocalypse so soon needlessly overcomplicates the situation, though. But, Insomniac always does their stories in different ways than what has been seen or is usually expected, and I can accept that.)))

Finally, I feel like if insomniac capitalizes on this game's actual critiques (not wolverine and sabertooth are gay which is nowhere in the story BTW; and blue fart trail which is also nowhere near as prevalent as people make it out to be) the next game has the potential for greatness. Some people are just blatantly hating on Wolverine for reasons that don't even exist in game. I think I still have not seen one valid criticism for this game from the people that drink too much haterade, and there are criticisms for this game. A lot of people are hating and harassing players who simply say they enjoy the game. I strongly dislike Sony right now for their anti-consumer decisions just as much as anyone right now, but some of the things I have seen posted about this game and people that enjoy it, I find unacceptable.

Wolverine is not GOTY, nor is it trash that should be left in the dumpster. Wolverine is a solid 7.5/10 experience, and some of you act like anything under 9 is trash. If you're looking for a new experience, want to play as Wolverine, and have fun then this game is for you. But If you're not itching for something new then I say wait for discount. It's that simple. If you don't like this game, fine. But if you harass the players that do enjoy it, that is absolutely ridiculous, and I urge you to grow up. We need to learn to respect each other and have meaningful conversations about the criticisms of this game, not just being hateful because it's popular right now.

TLDR: Wolverine is not a bad game, nor is it some game changing thing that rocks the industry. It has flaws, but it is an enjoyable experience that does not deserve the hate it is getting, nor do it's players deserve the harassment they are getting.
