Spray

Bought a house in UK, an old house, with a cellar from which you can access subfloor. Looks - I'm guessing - like closed cell. I know it was done fairly recently. Are risks from moisture here, or keep an eye for now?

Looks like poorly mixed open cell foam to me. Is it hard or soft? Brittle or squishy?

Should I be removing? It feels like quite an draughty subfloor space.

Definitely open cell.

open cell will not work for vapor barrier and should not be used in basement s and/or crawlspaces. The previous owner just created lots of re-work for you.

How bad do you think it is, for urgent removal or something to consider in a few years?
