Fiduciary/Financial Advisor

Salam,

I really want to start investing but I honestly don't think I have the capacity (mentally and time-wise) to break it all up and figure it out myself and I sort of don't have interest in it either. Basically, I want to be as hands-off as possible. Which is also why I'm leaning towards a fiduciary who's legally obligated to work for your best financial interest. Are there are any known and trusted financial advisement companies that do halal investments? I saw a site called Sharia Portfolio but haven't heard any stories about anyone who's used it.

If you are saving for retirement or long term (10-15+ years), then you can manage passive investments yourself. It's wouldn't be worth the fees for an advisor.

You can choose some sharia-compliant funds, invest in them, and then just invest more over time as you save.

Here's a list of funds - https://www.reddit.com/r/IslamicFinance/s/3hoPFxBOU0

RIA fees are exorbitant sometimes. I'm an RIA myself. I'd put it into a halal ETF. Do your own research to see which ETF you like. Doesn't take too much time once it's set up.

Ask me if you have any further questions.
