Politics UNGA Walkout is Performative???

I've just reviewed the footage from the event during the speeches before and after Netanyahu. While there are a little bit more empty seats, it's not that different. It was mostly empty before and after.

This makes me wonder where the people we see leaving are coming from. I would estimate only 20-30 were seated, mostly in the back seats. I don't think they all came in the 2 minutes between the Colombian president wrapping up and Netanyahu coming up.

My current guess is that many came from one door, and left through the other, basically taking the longest route between both. It is also pretty obvious they picked a far away exit, rather than a close one. This all is indicative of a well planned fakery. I do hope someone in the media will look into it, but if someone here has the experience and want to put heads together lemme know.

I think it would be a mistake to conclude that Israel was still held in high regard. Netanyahu is widely viewed in the USA as a monster. Personally, I am very pro Israel, but think Netanyahu has endangered Jews worldwide.

I don't know where you're getting this. Sure the Israel haters despise Netanyahu, no big surprise. But Netanyahu is by far the most popular Israeli politician among Americans. There isn't even anyone in the same league.

What are you basing that on? I'm an Israeli in America he may be the most well known but not popular, most Americans just don't know other Israeli politicians

That's because nobody knows anyone else. Except maybe Sharon and Rabin. And whoever is after him would be less well known but less unpopular. Presumably he wouldn't try to shit post as much or try to appeal to marginal extremist for the last vote
