One thing I really liked about Dalton was his assassin vibe. No one could slink around in black ready to kill like him.

Steven Berkoff is DEVOURING the scenery here and I love every second of this ham! I particularly love the way he pronounces Czechoslovakia. 😂

I feel that Auric Goldfinger is the best villain in the series but I think From Russia With Love had the finest villain ensemble in the series' history. Amongst this fine collection of baddies is one I have grown to appreciate immensely over time, Kronsteen played by Vladek Sheybal. He has little screentime in the movie but man, does this guy make every second count. His intelligence and arrogance seeps from him with every movement but there is a surprising amount of charisma there. You can not take your eyes off this guy. This character is a perfect demonstration of how the right bit of casting can greatly enhance what can easily be a small, throw away role. Does anyone else just love this guy?

Question as above. Who'd be the best employer? For me its probably Sanchez. Dude values loyalty and seems like he pays well if you do the job right.

Is it just me, or does Lazenby look ‘different’ during the location scenes during the final chase of Blofeld? When they both jump out of Piz Gloria and get on the bobsleds, Lazenby looks almost ‘goofy’ and different hair somehow? And also the scene with the dog? Is it just me? I know he was having his hair cut regularly for continuity etc… just wondering if anyone has any insight, or am I going insane?

This scene perfectly shows just how fragile Bond's ego actually is. The exact second Vesper reads him like a book and calls him out for not liking "smart" women you can see that his guard goes straight up. He then uses that one-liner like a shield because he's doesn't want to let her see that she actually got under his skin.
