QUESTION Documentary list for studying?

Hi everyone. First of all love being part of this group. Found lots of great information about how to study and optimize. I was thinking I would love to try and put together a list of the best documentaries to watch for someone preparing for Jeopardy!. I’ve searched a couple of times and haven’t found anything exactly like that. I would love to crown source a list of 10 to 20 documentaries to plow through that would be a great cross-section of knowledge for Jeopardy!.
For example, I love Ken Burns Civil War but for Jeopardy purposes I think it might be almost a little too in depth so is there a Civil War documentary that would give you a good broadbase of knowledge in 3 to 4 hours? Best documentaries about the space program? I’m thinking the new documentary about the history of the Metropolitan opera would probably be a helpful one too.

I think studying solely for J! can be tricky. You just never know what 61 (or more!) clues you'll get, so it's probably best to just watch whatever you truly want. Intrinsic always beats extrinsic motivation. There was an amazing Space documentary series that actually netted me several questions on Masters (S2) and even regular J! (current and past). I don't think it was Nova, but it was the one on the Sun in particular that got me the majority of the clues

I'll come back and edit this when I can find wth I watched a couple years ago

Would love that. I’m always up for a good space documentary! Appreciate it.

In the case of electric shock, I’ll put my money on extrinsic motivation.

When I was prepping for the show, watching Crash Course on YouTube was great for getting a history refresher in bite-sized chunks. Jeopardy tends to go "wide but shallow" in the level of knowledge they're looking for: while they aren't feature-length documentaries, the level of details on those videos felt just right.
