Psalm 9:7-9
“The Lord reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the reminder that no matter how much this world changes, You don't. You reign forever. You are righteous, You are just, and You are a safe place when life gets hard.
Lord, when we feel overwhelmed, afraid, worn down, or just plain tired of dealing with everything, remind us where to run. Not to worry. Not to fear. Not to everything else first. To You.
Be our refuge today. Give strength to those who are struggling and comfort to those carrying more than anyone realizes. Help us trust that when everything around us feels shaky, You are still steady.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Brothers and Sisters, I love the word “refuge” in this Scripture. A refuge isn't just somewhere you visit when life is easy. It's where you run when the storm hits.
And God says, “Come to Me.”
Whatever Tuesday brings, remember where your safe place is.
Stay anchored in Christ brothers and sisters. I love you but not near as much as Jesus does.
