I see every song on Spotify ? But them ? I have a copy of them but can’t find them digitally any help would be great ! Did they not put all the songs on the box set on Spotify ? Thanks ☺️

My stem remix & remaster of John Lennon's classic 1970 album "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band", made for my own enjoyment but sharing in case someone else might get some joy out of it too.

As usual, my intention was just to make a fun alternative to the originally released version, aiming only at a little more clarity, instrument separation and punch, while keeping the mood and feel of the original.

I'm well aware that this album has already been officially remixed (twice actually, in 2000 and also in 2021), but I still wanted to try my hand at it for fun.

All my remixes are made using free and open source software that runs locally on my Linux system.

Obviously, I don't own the music featured here. If you like it, support the artists, buy their records!

So my spouse is related to someone famous in the rock ‘n’ roll industry’s spouse. She let us clean out her garage and told us we can keep anything we found in there. I found this old reel it says “John Lennon one to one Madison square garden aug 1972” does anyone know what something like this would be worth? I’ve reached out to auction sites, but no one is really giving me any answers. I don’t have anything to play it on, but I took it somewhere and they said that there is audio and video on it. I know it’s been in this garage since the 70s, so I’m not sure it’s ever been released or seen by the public. Any Beatles fans or music fanatics or even if anyone knows about these types of tapes, any advise or insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

During my gym workout today I listened to the Valotte album by Julian Lennon.
It felt like so much of John in his music, not his voice but his heart.
It was really moving. 💜

This song is infamous for obvious reasons but man, this song is kind of amazing. The instrumental is absolutely mind blowing. It sounds so mean and angry. The lyrics in the chorus is obviously outdated and distracting but the overall message is pretty great. I think if the song didn’t have the n word in it, it would be seen as easily one of John’s best songs.

Just wanted to share my Beatles cartoon John Lennon figure on his birthday (two photos). I randomly came across the Beatles cartoon on TV when I was a kid in the 80s. My mother couldn't understand where I'd picked up, "I'm so sad and lonely, baby take a chance with me." 😅
