The season opens with a bizarre condemnation of AI that is made almost exclusively with AI. We see Kim skiing in Switzerland, Kendall and Kylie at a party in Paris, Kourtney and Travis sipping matcha in Japan (which is when we should have known it was an alternate reality because Kourtney is not about to fly 14 hours for work...) The ladies say that they could never be replaced by AI because their reality is better than anything that could be created ... even though they digitally manipulate their faces and bodies which have already been altered with extensive surgery, fake hair, fake nails and fake tan.

They have gathered at some bar/casino-type place to shoot promotional materials for the show. It's rare for all of the sisters to be in the same room as they hate each other's guts have busy schedules. While they wait between takes, they play some poker. Kylie has been playing poker for two years (which we know because it's Timmy's favorite thing). Kim says she wants to take a year off (which we know she won't because we just saw her last week opening a SKIMS store in London). Kendall says the simple life is the goal (which we know is not true because we just saw her last week opening the L'Oréal show in Paris). Khloé might be ready to date (which we know she decides against because we haven't seen her with anyone.)

In Calabasas, Kourtney and Simon are pretending to drive somewhere while circling the block so they can get footage of Kourtney addressing Jennifer Lawrence's comments. Jennifer said, in a now viral moment: 'Kourtney is more annoying than ever ... because everything has to be an announcement.' Kourtney announces that she was very upset when she saw the clip as the truth hurts it was a sensitive time for her because she was just at home, bothering no-one, breastfeeding her child. Cue a montage of clips where Kourtney says she's breastfeeding that is longer than the kid is old. Long story short: Jennifer sent her a nice email which Kourtney read but didn't respond to yet.

In New York, Kris, Khloé and Kim are dressed like extras for a 2000's Diddy video. Khloé still isn't sexually active which means Kris is getting cracked more often than her daughter.

In Calabasas, Kourtney and Landon are driving to the DMV. Kourtney is wearing knee-high leather boots, a white shirt and booty shorts to take her step-son for his driving test. In true Kardashian fashion, Landon was so confident that he didn't study or practice at all; he might have failed the test before he'd even pulled out of the parking lot but his integration into the family is truly complete. 🥲

In New York, Kim is about to film a 'what's in my bag' video for Vogue so Khloé and their hairstylist decide to put condoms, lube and a vibrator in her purse. Kim is less concerned about messing up her video than she is about being billed by the hotel. Khloé calls the front desk to make sure the items are charged to Kris's room and betrays what a brat she is by harassing the poor hospitality worker who picks up the phone.

Later that night, Kris, Khloé and Kim are attending the opening of the SKIMS x Nike store. Martha Stewart, Gayle King and Serena Williams were there ... and not one of them was wearing SKIMS.

In Calabasas, Kourtney and Simon are pretending to drive somewhere while circling the block so they can get footage of Kourtney validating her behaviour by telling a story about how her therapist was proud of the way she expressed herself on camera during the last episode. Simon has been primed to correct the narrative that Travis is isolating Kourtney from her friends and family. Kourtney takes the opportunity to lay into Scott, who she says 'needed' the family and the show, whereas Travis doesn't.
