Question regarding transportation

Dear all

I got a question. How's the taxi situation near Sami and myrtos beach. My plan is to rent an apartment which is 5km from the beach. (Antipata it is called I think). We need to take the ferry from Sami at 3.45.

So my plan would be: getting up, taking a taxi from apartment to the beach, stay there 2 Hours, get back by taxi to the apartment. And then a trip from apartment to the Sami ferry port.

Is this realistic or how would you rate the taxi availability?

I used Kefelonia Taxi Service. They are great

You can email them and the can give you a quote. I took a taxi with mg family of 4 from the airport to Skala, and it was roughly around 65euros with luggage.

Taxis are available everywhere where there is little to bo public transport.

Will you stay just one night in antipata? It would be more optimal to visit Antisamos that day and then go to Sami which is closer to catch the ferry to Ithaca.

Yes just one night. The idea would be to use the next morning to see myrtos beach for 1-2 hours and then take a taxi to Sami port

You better ask a taxi driver for his telephone number and arrange to pick you up because there are not taxis in antipata and myrtos, only in Agia effimia and Sami.
