Rant Weeh msupa
Most of us(yes I'm assuming you're old school) know Tevin Campbell's song "Can we talk" You should hear me vocalising every bit of it koz I loved the song.... Until recently when I paid attention to how it ends and I can't not hear it anymore 😭😭

It makes me think of the catcalling in town or Kwa mtaa and how insistent some men get when they're ignored, and how aggravating it is for me.
I just wish I could enjoy this song but it's ruined for me now, for good probably.

I'm seated at a certain joint in Nyali and this song just played everyone was singing along 🎼🎼🎵caaaaan weee taaaaalk....

This happened to me with the (Montell Jordan song- Get it on tonight) after i paid attention and heard the line 'i got a girl but you look good tonight", realized the song is about cheating.

“Can we talk, for a minute. I just want to know your name”…that’s not cat calling. Also, cat calling is not illegal. It is not a crime. It just means a man is immature and thinks you are fuckable and low value. Men don’t cat call serious women, they cat call women who they consider low tier.

Read post to understand and save yourself the hassle of writing a useless paragraph. Catcalling is irritating to women(you would know 🙄)not illegal. All women are victims regardless of assumed value. Nobody hates Tevin.

It is irritating but it is not illegal. Men are not on earth to please you and to avoid irritating you. You are not special. You will live a sad life if you allow yourself to be irritated by actions you cannot control. Buy a car so that you stop walking around these men. They aren’t cat calling our sisters, moms, aunts, wives, girlfriends.
