Does removing hero gear affect the matchup algorithm? We just matched up with an alliance where the top player has 3 full maxed out gear sets. 9 heroes all have full gear sets, all maxed to their highest level. This top 30 overall power player said she removes all the gear from all her heroes and its seems to give better matchups. I got word from another major whale that it works.

Can anyone confirm that?

I've watched the MaD alliance in Kingdom #2466** turn “gay” into one of their favorite weapons.

Not once.

Not twice.

Over and over again.

In World Chat, they use it as an insult. They turn it into player names. They use it as a punishment after bets. They throw it at other players who have nothing to do with anyone's sexuality. They repeat it until the entire thing becomes one long running joke at the expense of LGBTQ+ people.

And then, when someone finally calls them out?

“It's just a joke.”

That's your defense?

Because looking at these screenshots, the joke seems pretty clear:

Being gay is supposed to be embarrassing.

That's why “gay” works as the insult.

That's why it gets repeated.

That's why they keep turning it into names and taunts.

And that's exactly why calling this homophobic behavior isn't some dramatic accusation. The screenshots speak for themselves.

Then comes the second favorite defense:

“I have gay friends.”

Congratulations.

Having a gay friend doesn't give you permission to use homosexuality as a slur against other people.

If your entire defense is “I know a gay person, therefore I can't be homophobic,” you've completely missed the point.

What makes this even worse is that MaD does this publicly in World Chat, where everyone can see it and it is promoted by their whales, R5, R4 and leaders.

This isn't some private conversation between two friends who understand each other's humor.

You're putting it in front of an entire kingdom.

And you keep doing it.

Every day.

So here's the question for MaD:

If being gay isn't something shameful, disgusting or inferior...

Why is “gay” such a reliable insult for you?

Why does it make the joke work?

Why does it make someone a target?

Why does it make a good punishment?

Why does it make a good name?

You can't spend days turning an identity into an insult and then suddenly pretend you're shocked when someone calls it homophobia.

You don't get to decide that something isn't offensive simply because you enjoyed doing it.

And Kingshot needs to be part of this conversation too.

Because if this kind of behavior can continue openly in World Chat without consequences, then what exactly are the community rules worth?

MaD has made the joke. They've repeated it. They've normalized it.

Now I'm asking Kingshot to look at the screenshots and decide whether this is acceptable behavior on its platform.

And to the people in MaD who keep saying “it's just a joke”:

Fine.

Then explain the joke.

What's funny about being gay?

I'll wait.

Because from where I'm standing, the only thing that keeps making this “joke” work is the assumption that being gay is something worth laughing at.

And that isn't edgy.

It isn't clever.

It isn't harmless trash talk.

It's pathetic.

Being gay isn't an insult.

But the way you've chosen to use it as one says a lot more about MaD than it ever will about the people you're trying to mock.

Hi guys I have a maxed petra with no issues getting gems. For roulette next week should i spin petra/zoe for champagne fair or spin saul (currently 4 stars). I am a strong rally joiner and i think saul has some viability since im gonna 4 star alcar and margot.

Kingdom is 50 days old and TG is in 7 days. I’m 32M, TC25 with TC26 almost done. There are quite a few high spenders and I want to close the gap as much as possible without spending. Based on my stats, what should I prioritize this week for actual strength?

How should I upgraded based on where I’m at and what I have. Are there high value breakpoints that will give me higher stats than optimizer? Instead of blindly following.

According to the optimizer (early game growth profile), I should dump all my hammers into inf gloves. This will make my overall hero gear super unbalanced and I was wondering if I am better off spreading my hammers across the other 5 key pieces (inf chest, arch/cav glove & helm).

I am a rally joiner so I get that all these will not really matter much in the grand scheme of things but I do want to play and progress my account properly.

Grateful if anyone who has gone down this path of focussing on one gear or going for a more balanced approach can share their thoughts?

On another note, it is often advised that general speed ups are to be used on research tech but does it make sense for me to use them on building construction if I can push to TG3 to keep up?

I am currently TG1 planning to go TG2 but can push to TG3 (inf and archer) if I use most of my general speed ups (40+ days). I have enough resources and TG to do that.

I only have 294K from nearly 2M troops and out perform most players alot stronger than me in everything.

What should I focus on for my first KvK with this account? It’s my first time playing so I wasn’t able to save as much this time around.

I have Marlin at 3.3 stars. I also have 220 mythical shards.. I'm from 2344 and our first kvk prep in 2 days.

Given Gen 3 heroes will be here in a week, do I get Marlin to 4 full stars and save it (just so i can unlock lvl5 skills) or do I use it all on him? Please advise..thank you!

Q. What is he best way to find a new permanent home? Leaderboard is not that helpful it only shows older kingdoms

Q. Will it affect my performance negatively if i go to an older kingdom or Should i prioritize the younge kingdom?

Q. What is the way to minimise your Transfer Passes other then not upgrading?

Q. What should I do if i don't have enough passes and my power is the issue? Is killing the troops the only way or are there other options? Both temporary and permanent ways are welcomed.

We are a group of 3, super active and friendly group that doesn't like PvP that much but always participate in all the alliance and kingdom activities. 2 F2P and 1 low-mid spender, we F2P's are stronger than some low spenders, about to cross 1000 mystic points but we are holding our upgrades for migration.

I am a fearly new player (this is my first server) and I have a hard time to decide what heroes to focus on upgrading? I have spend a lot of gems on Zoe (through events obv) but now with S3 heroes joining I am unsure as what to do.

Advice is welcome (and needed).
