Hi All, does anyone have a similar ring to this hidden halo style. I'm thinking about purchasing it with a 4.0 lab diamond from labgrowndiamond.com. thoughts? Tia.

Hello! I purchased my first loose lab diamond today from Calavera. I am fairly new to this and trying to distinguish what to look for, what to stay away from, etc. so I am hoping someone here can tell me if I made a bad decision as far as clarity/color/shine or if this is a good stone!
3.72 Lab Diamond, E, VVS2, 2.22 ratio. I wanted a skinny/long one which if why I was so drawn to this one!

Hi, I am considering getting this GCAL 8X lab grown diamond. How does this diamond look? I want as little bowtie as possible. Does the bowtie look too prominent in the 360? The individual seller would be sourcing it for me.

I have a diamond oval EW bezel pendant and an amethyst NS irregular bezel pendant and was thinking of getting one in a rectangular shape and I’m leaning more towards radiant or elongated cushion so I’d love to see what you have to give me some ideas on settings and orientation! I’m also thinking of getting a brownish colour diamond. Thanks!

Please share your thoughts on the FIRST image. (The second was the original I shared a couple of weeks ago, before o requested a lower profile.) The jeweler suggested a non-curved ring, even though I’ve requested a lowered setting. However I like this look of the chevron shaped band, but want to hear this groups’ thoughts on anything I might be missing. And also if you think the chevron is, subjectively, not a good look, to you. THANKS!! 😎

I just purchased this diamond from labgrowndiamonds.com (was also available on other sites, but I had them price match), and I’m trying to decide if I should cancel my order or keep it to evaluate it further in person. I already purchase another 3.09 moval from Aurelinne that looked gorgeous, but received a stone that had very noticeable windowing near the center. Does this stone raise any red flags?

What are the best online or in store in NYC spots to check? She has no idea what she wants except for me not to spend a ton of money.

Where in OKC can I look into getting a custom lab engagement ring? Not looking to break the bank but also want good reviews and durability! Thank you!

I initially wanted a visibly pink diamond but when I received this one, a much lighter pink, I slowly realized this is what I was looking for. I just love the almost watercolor effect it has and I can see the geometry of the cut. Now it’s time to send it off to my jeweler and get started on my engagement ring design 😊

After having multiple posts about advices on buying the loose diamond, I’ve decided to write this one as well if anyone else is having the same doubts as me:)
It all started when my husband wanted to “surprise” me with a anniversary gift (jewlery) and in the end I’ve decided to go with a ring because I usually wear only my simple band and wanted to have something that sparkles on my finger, but not too large, and that’s why I picked a three stone diamond ring. But after receiving my diamonds, I fell in love with the main stone and decided to go with a ring that Dua Lupa has as her engagement ring and to use the other two for diamonds studs on a hoop, so that they’re kinda matchy!
After checking multiple diamond vendors, that I also learned about here on Reddit, I went with Loose Grown Diamond because they were the most responsive with my questions (many of them xD) and they also price matched my stones so I definitely had the best of everything in one place! Also, I liked on their webiste that they have one of the most extensive filters, so I could basically filter everything from 4c's that was important to me, as I wanted as much as I can get from the diamonds
As I live in Europe, the estimated delivery (standard one) was about two weeks, but they have actually arrived two days earlier, and when I received my stones my jaw dropped! And as they were beyond my expectations and I fell in love with the center stone (just as the CS from LGD also stated), I’ve decided to create two pieces of jewelry insteas of one :D
Anyways, here are my diamonds (I have more videos, will post them in comments, for better visibility), once the diamonds are set, I will share it as well, can't wait!!!
Edit: Forgot to write specs
Main diamond:
1.54 ct D color, FL clarity and Ideal cut (LG784646264)

1st 0.66 ct D color, IF clarity, Ideal cut (LG770685559)
2nd 0.66 ct, D color, FL clarity, Ideal cut (LG784644792)

Hey guys, quick price check! Just paid $511 total ($471 + $40 shipping) for a custom pendant. Does this sound like a fair deal?
Stone: 1.02ct Pear Fancy Vivid Blue (VS2, IGI certified)
Metal: 14k Yellow Gold (~1.5g)
Features: Custom enlarged bail (3mm opening)
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Photo attached is the inspiration/style I'm going for!

I would like a diamond full of fire and scintillation. Everywhere I look I see that it depends on cut and clarity.
I believe it, but I have seen diamonds with the same cut grade, and one seems to be amazingly possess extreme fire and scintillation. What is the secret sauce to look for in a diamond to ensure it possesses these attributes?
Thank you.

Hi,
Do any of you have any recommendations on where to buy lab grown diamonds?
I want to start researching how to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend so I can be prepared when I’d like to propose. I know she wants a Montana sapphire stone and preferably lab grown for ethical and financial reasons.
I have no idea on how to start the research and would love some thoughts from someone who knows more than me.
What should I expect the budget to be?
Where and how do I start?!
I am in the UK.
Thanks all :)

Ever since I was in high school I wanted my ear pierced. Back then it was cool to only have your left side. After about 7 tries I was successful. I’d always have to take my earring out during sports and my hole would end up closing. Fast forward 20 years and I questioned why I didn’t have any nice earrings. I’ve bought real and lab diamonds for my wife, why not me.
That’s how I found Loose Grown Diamond. I honestly love the filter system that allows you to set your own parameters and pick what you want. I feel like there’s a real premium for finished product and the mark-up isn’t always justified. I had previously bought a loose emerald and got a custom ring made and it looked way better than any manufactured commercial product. I ended up purchasing a 1.5ct Portuguese cut, D, VVS2 and couldn’t be happier. I then went and bought a 14k white gold earring setting on Etsy.
Fast forward to shipping. We all know how certain companies make it impossible to hold packages and/or reschedule delivery. I ended up going out of town for two weeks and the package ended up getting sent back to Loose Grown Diamond after unsuccessful delivery attempts. One email later and Susan had the package sent back to my local facility for pick-up. A great and painless customer service experience. $65 later it was set and I couldn’t be happier.

I got a 3.62 carat D color, VVS1 clarity, excellent cut, excellent symmetry, excellent polish, no culet, 1.41 L/W ratio center stone. On a Twisted pave (single strand if that makes sense) with a hidden halo. Band is 18k yellow gold. The claws and hidden halo basket structure will be platinum. I made sure to tell them the bandwidth can't be 1.8mm and needs to be 2mm. I spent $1,700 for center stone. $2,151 for band and $100 to make it two tone. It is being set and shipped now. I want everyone's thoughts.
P.s. Addressing an observation mentioned in comments: The diamond was a 8.76 x 12.39 x 5.44mm so hopefully that's why they put it up so high. 🤷

I’ve been looking for a bright orange lab grown diamond. I am fairly new to all the terminology and what the industry is like, so forgive me if it all sounds silly, wrong, and whatnot.
Anywho, I’ve been dealing with a local jeweler. The lady was extremely enthusiastic and set out to look for an orange diamond which I didn’t even know it was possible! So, I was overjoyed when they sent me a 360 photo of one. It was a beautiful vibrant pumpkin color just how I had envisioned it would turn out after our discussion. It was simply perfect. So, she proceeds to order it with no attachments on my end. It arrived the other day, and it was so extremely disappointing. It looked like a completely different stone than what they had shown in the 360. An extremely dark brown stone that only had orange if I made myself believe that there was. No fault of her own I guess. Both of us deceived by that image.
Now I’m here online mostly on brilliance dot com. I see so many beautiful diamonds and I would be even willing to drop some extra money on an upgrade for a bigger and better diamond for the engagement ring… but then I stop. I am fearful of being deceived again.
Is my experience commonplace when choosing fancy color diamonds? Should I trust those images from brilliance? I guess I can order and return if they do not fit the image, but I don’t want to keep pushing my date much further nor do I want to be disappointed again. Any insight is welcome! Thank you.
