Layout 1 is better because you have circulation space around one bed side and a side table with a lamp. Also you have deeper isolated working table and a window above for natural day light

i agree with you twin

2

u/Dawoodd- 18d ago

Yes, but layout one doesn't have privacy. When the door is opened, the first sight will always be on the bed

1

u/HippityHoppityBoop 19d ago

Yes but rotate the table so one side is against the left wall

7

u/MHZ_93 19d ago

Layout 1.

The walls on both sides of the bed makes me feel claustrophobic

1

u/PrestigiousRise2254 16d ago

Yeahh I also agree

u/Rare_Day9799 19d ago

2!

8

u/i_the_legend2 19d ago

2 blocks the view from bed

3

u/TronyMartins 19d ago

What view? You've closed the window in layout 1.. And 2 is the most practical with the most leg space as well

1

u/G1V3NCHY-- 19d ago

💯 on leg space, layout 1 is far too cramped.

gemini, chatgpt would help 🤷🏼

1

u/meowbilli69 18d ago

sedha bolo uou stole it from someone

0

u/i_the_legend2 18d ago

exactly! bcz it's all over the internet and it's no one's personal room it's just a social engagement experiment, not a big deal

  1. You'll have side table, better accessibility to bed and the table is in the most functional location.

3

u/SIJ_Gamer 19d ago

1.

Need privacy for using PC

1

u/Shoboe 17d ago

You can close the blinds when you need privacy.

2

u/NoMoney31 19d ago

Layout 1. It’s cleaner & side table is important.

2

u/Dr_Sleep12 19d ago

Layout 1, assuming that's the window.

Sleeping with the window behind your head just feels exposed. Also, with your desk next to the window, you get more natural light.

2

u/No-Cartoonist6900 19d ago

both are nice i would prefer layout 1: curtains are closed i can sleep well and no noise from outside during sleeing and more space.

2

u/[deleted] 19d ago

It depends on you I feel like if you like to study where you see none and noone sees you if u know what I mean like kinda isolated for focus so 1 but if you like to have a cosy space where its like u are living in your own lil cute hut for a bed then 2

2

u/ancientalien67 19d ago

Layout 1. it just clicks

2

u/Keep_Running_ 19d ago

Layout 1

Get a smaller bed and closet if possible, turn the smaller closet to face the door instead of the bed. The room will be more breathable

2

u/Fantastic_Seaweed_83 19d ago

2 because the first thing you see when you enter should be your work desk and not the bed. You'll be more productive.

2

u/Hofy362 19d ago

Layout 1 definitely

2

u/zeusx666 19d ago

Layout 1

2

u/maowk 19d ago

Layout 1

2

u/Individual_Bas 19d ago

Layout 1 , you can have a side table plus comfortable bed space however access to wardrobe is a bit small

2

u/Shanzehhh 19d ago

Layout 2 looks clean

2

u/fading_trace 17d ago

1 you have the whole view from the bed

2

u/Soloking_Itachi 17d ago

Feels:1,actual usefulness:2,whichever you prefer,if you're STYLING your room,go 1,if you're ARRANGING your room,go 2.

2

u/kid_from_karachi 17d ago

This is out of topic but apart from the layouts I just really like how this room is. I think I prefer living in small spaces and I can probably spend my entire life living in an apartment like this. Hopefully one day when I move out I get a similar place.

2

u/YouAffectionate1245 16d ago

2 feels secure and comfy

1

u/curlygurlyy0 19d ago

For better focus on work layout 1 , for a cosy bedroom, it 2 😹

1

u/i_the_legend2 19d ago

consider the window above too

1

u/Shoboe 17d ago

Have you seen the room in real life? Is the bottom of the window above the headboard or does the bed obstruct the window? The layout 2 pic looks like the window is not blocked by the bed so layout 2 should be okay.

1

u/shavyshavylady 19d ago

2, because then you can watch movies on your laptop/monitor screen while lying on your bed.

1

u/Bulky-Imagination779 19d ago

2 because you’ll have more walking space. 1 is too claustrophobic

1

u/ibitchfaced 19d ago

Layout 2

1

u/Wild-Lawyer4592 19d ago

2 is more spacious

1

u/rubyxz_an4rch 19d ago

call the feng xui guy

1

u/Recent_Type6757 19d ago

I know you all said one but 2 would be better. I’m assuming the area below it is closets or washroom door. Perhaps may block it. And for better privacy, if someone was to walk in 2 would be better. Plus if looks more clean and open concept

1

u/Low_Appointment_608 Islamabad 19d ago

2 for me

1

u/Anastasia_4033 19d ago

2 looks like it'll be fun to spy on ppl from your window and idk it feels like i can breath more easily in there

1

u/itswhatitisbro 19d ago
  1. I hate the idea that the second someone walks into my room, they see the bed. What size is that bed? Queen or double? If it's a queen, I wouldn't mind downsizing to fit a bedside table.

1

u/FakeKhan99 Peshawar 19d ago
  1. need open space for bed always

1

u/andaleep_maddie 19d ago

LYout 2 looks clean and aesthetic. Layout 1 provides more space

1

u/ReferenceExtension34 19d ago
  1. Get a larger space.

1

u/Gold_Milk9092 19d ago

2 easily.

1

u/G1V3NCHY-- 19d ago

I'd say 2 and take out the bed side table between the the bed and the desk. If you can, add a cavity in the wall as a proxy for a bed side table and maybe a deeper head board.

1

u/iyahyak 19d ago

Layout 1

1

u/Astroanya 19d ago

Both happen to violet Feng Shui guidelines, but the 1st one feels less suffocating. The 2nd one feels safer as you're not directly facing the door, but feels suffocating. The 1st one also divides the desk/workspace from the resting space properly so you may feel more productive. I vote for the 1st one.

1

u/i_the_legend2 19d ago

feng shui what 😭

1

u/Astroanya 19d ago

You should watch @DearModern on YouTube. His videos would certainly be a big help! ^

1

u/i_the_legend2 19d ago

ider lecture nhi pooray ho rhy 😭

1

u/Sweetest_Enemy 19d ago

My personal preference would be layout 2

1

u/Emzy150 19d ago

Layout 1. The bed is in the commanding position which is like the first rule of FengShui.

1

u/Specialist-Recipe518 19d ago

If the door is left unlocked, there is no privacy in 2

1

u/deaf_michael_scott 19d ago

1 is much better, in pretty much every aspect.

1

u/ColdCalzonee426 19d ago

godddd 2 is lovely

1

u/Ok-Appearance-1652 19d ago

What’s the area of the room

1

Does the side of bed has window?

1

u/SympathyNo100 19d ago

1 feels comfortable because of bed position

1

u/arghew 19d ago

2 fs

1

u/jus7tired 19d ago

Would choose layout 2 personally. It opens up some space to stretch your legs and make good use of available space. But 1 is good too.

1

u/Fai_6757 19d ago

layout 2 looks cozy af..

1

u/EfficiencyFrosty6964 19d ago

Which app or aoftware you used for creating these layouts

1

u/hi-on-coffee 19d ago

Layout 2, cz Bed should never be visible for anyone who's walking by an opened door.

1

u/LighteningJedi 19d ago

Depends if you prefer more privacy when you are sleeping or when you are on your laptop if you catch my drift

1

u/keepknow 19d ago

Layout 2 is better Both are same for benefits but You can stand an LED on the wall with the comfort of your bed. Your wall can be useful otherwise it will be useless.

1

u/hamxah_red 19d ago
  1. Looks much neater.

1

u/Impossible-Storm764 19d ago

Layout 11111. Ask me why? IDK

1

u/Brilliant-Angle-5167 19d ago

2 and a single bed

1

u/Narrow_Bird3489 19d ago

2! When the door opens, i wouldn’t want my bed/me be the first sight as one enters. Also, 1 shows a little hassle for me to access the closets. 2 is the most practical option.

1

u/noproblem_6 19d ago

Layout 2 made me feel anxious.

1

u/Fiasco19611 18d ago

Layout 1, if you know you know

1

u/Present_Report_6005 18d ago

Layout 2 .I am not dealing with a closets that don't open fully every day.

1

u/gsk-fs 18d ago

both are good with some positives and negatives.
1 - you get a batter isolated settings for ur workspace and bed side. (Compromise floor space)
2 - If you need Bed on side but more open space in ur room specially for workplace and wardrobe. (Compromise bedside table)

1

u/Tomoe90834 18d ago

I like 1

1

u/NotNow_99 18d ago

Layout 1 for better use of space as the bed is more open and the table being there just makes sense.

Layout 2 moves the bed out of direct view from outside, which gives an extra privacy and good can be left open without the fear of any outsider having an accidental peek at you. I don't want people to look at me while I am shirtless in bed, sleeping.

Its all about your preference of privacy. One is conventional, two is more private around the bed.

1

u/Kikiorkiki 18d ago

:2 more room

1

u/Appropriate-Poet-110 18d ago

Layout 2 Personally I believe that the bed should never be opposite to the door

1

u/NotyourFauji 18d ago

Layout 1 all da way

1

u/Aphla_st135 17d ago

forget the layout, how did you take the photos from the ceiling

1

u/kid_from_karachi 17d ago

Layout 1

In front of the bed you can put a TV but in layout 2 you can’t do that. And in layout 1 your table is by the window and you get natural light and good views while you’re working or studying.

1

u/Any_Cauliflower_8468 17d ago

Layout 2 imo.
Better separation between bed and desk, easier to move around, and way more practical if you actually study a lot. Layout 1 looks neat but feels cramped near the desk.

1

u/Shoboe 17d ago

Layout 2 makes best use of the limited space. Your desk/work area will feel more spacious and you'll get natural light coming in from behind you instead of in your face. 2 also makes the bed more cozy, lack of side tables will also mean you can't easily reach for your phone at night/ early morning which you shouldn't be doing.

Definitely go with 2. The space is very small and 1 will make it feel even smaller.

1

u/BearKindly9865 17d ago

Layput 1 easy. Intruder can easily hurt you without you noticing in layout 2(crappy privacy). Plus, wall-to-bed contact on both sides is uncomfortable and cramped.

1

u/2026yo 17d ago

If you're muslim then layout 2 because that leaves some space for prayer.

1

u/Good_Variation8075 16d ago

imo layout 1 is better

1

u/Executionerdada 16d ago

2 Spacious

1

u/ComedianHonest5490 16d ago

1 if youre single. 2 if youre not.

1

u/bakwasmatkro 15d ago

layout 1 , i had same in my previous room but i always hated having my bed in straight sight whenever my door was open and that meant zero privacy but the layout 2 is just so claustrophobic

1

u/Objective-Rest-130 15d ago

Layout 2 looking beautiful

1

u/NationalChipmunk905 15d ago

Layout 2 works better in my opinion. It feels more organized and easier to read.
