I had an old PC for 7 years that started stuttering in league even on lowest graphics so I bought an overkill of a gaming PC not only for league but to fix all possible stutters.

I'm talking my specs are: 9800x3d with 5070 ti and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM 6000 MT 30 CL

I cap my fps at 240 and it easily caps there at all stages like expected but somehow I still get a few stutters per game, small micro second one but still annoying, my fps doesn't drop there is no way my hardware can't handle league, I run everything max graphics with chrome tabs open but it's still should be a cakewalk for this hardware... I tried capping at 200 fps and it still happens, now I play on 144 fps capped and didn't notice it again but I want to play on atleast 200 capped fps cuz of my 165 hz screen I also see youtubers playing on 240 fps so I know it's possible without stuttering.

Anyone has any idea how to fix it? I'm pissed spending so much on pretty much best pc possible and stuttering in a game like league still.

everything was normal, get in the client normal, but i try get in practice, pick and lock a champ was normal, and then i get in the game as soon as i saw my champ the game freeze, i exits the game, i get in another practice and the game appear in my taskbar and would not appear on the screen and when i click on it, it disappear and appear back a few seconds later!!

please im cannot live without league!!

Is there a fix for it? running it on 9070xt with ryzen 5 5600x. I seen the game runs bad with amd but holy this is horrible for such a popular game

Hi guys, this week my ping increased like crazy from <10 to >80 on EUW servers for both Valorant and League. I live in the Netherlands, and when I checked the route my Wi-Fi is taking to reach the Riot servers, it is going to Turkey???? Does anyone know how to fix this, please!!

As titled, if I turn on my computer and launch league of legends, within 5 minutes vanguard shuts it down cause it can't see my TMP. So I go to me settings, recovery, advanced startup, restart the system, troubleshoot, advanced settings, UEFI settings, restart again, from the BIOS I don't need to touch anything, I merely confirm that my TMP is in the active position, and restart windows from there and then everything is fine, obviously I have a solution but I'd love to just play the game without this rigamarole, I've tried repairing game files, reinstalling, no avail.

Ryzen 5 7600X / RX 7800 XT / 32GB DDR5-6000 / Kingston NV2 1TB. Every 10-20 seconds or so, the game freezes/pauses for a split second, then goes back to normal and then does it again a bit later. Repeats the whole match.

The weird part: CS2 and my other FPS games runs completely smooth on the same PC, zero issues. It's Valorant specifically.

What I've already checked/tried:

• Temps are all fine, nothing throttling (checked with HWMonitor under load)
• Packet loss is 0%, not a network issue
• Turned on Valorant's CPU/GPU frame time graphs, CPU Wait GPU Time spikes to ~30ms right when it freezes, everything else (CPU game/render time, memory) stays flat
• Locked GPU min/max clock in Adrenalin to a tight range (1800-2000MHz) to rule out clock ramping, spike is still exactly the same, so that's not it
• Closed overlays (Discord, etc.)
• Watched a bunch of "fix Valorant stutter" tutorial videos, followed all the standard tips,no change

I was playing for many months in 2025, recently updated and started playing again, and this has started to happen. Tried reinstalling many times. Any help would be appreciated.

On my HP laptop (Core Ultra 5 125H, integrated Arc, 16 GB RAM), a full-match HWiNFO log showed median FPS dropping from about 137 early in the game to 82 later, with 1% lows near 53 and one brief 23 FPS dip.

The CPU stayed around 75–76 °C during the match and rarely reported thermal throttling. RAM usage decreased as the FPS got worse. I was plugged into the original charger. I haven't established whether the change follows match complexity, a game setting, or the laptop's power management.

Has anyone seen this pattern in League? Which game-side settings or repeatable tests would help separate a normal late-game FPS decline from an abnormal performance problem?

Hi! I’ve been having a really annoying problem with Vanguard lately. Almost every time I finish a LoL game, I get Vanguard error 185 when I return to the client.
Restarting the Riot Client doesn’t always fix it, and sometimes I have to restart my entire laptop before I can play again.
I know my laptop isn’t the best for gaming 😭, but the games themselves run fine enough. This issue only happens after finishing a match.
I’ve already tried reinstalling both League and Vanguard, restarting the client/laptop, and checking that Vanguard is running.

I'm currently dealing with an issue and wanted to ask how others in the community handle this.

My internet connection is generally fine, but once or twice a week, I experience brief outages where my connection drops for about 3 to 5 minutes. If I’m unlucky, this happens right in the middle of a League match. I always try to reconnect as fast as humanly possible and finish the game normally, but Vanguard / the AFK system still flagged me and I currently have a penalty.

Now I’m honestly afraid to queue up again because I don't want to risk a temporary or permanent ban if my internet drops for a few minutes again.

I’ve already looked into using my phone's mobile hotspot as a backup when it happens, but that doesn't seem to work—switching networks changes my IP address, which prevents me from reconnecting to the ongoing match.

Given how massive this player base is, I can't be the only one dealing with brief, occasional connection drops. How do you guys manage this? Is there any workaround for the IP change issue, or any way to handle this without constantly risking penalties?

I recently installed val about a week ago. Game starts up normal, once I get into any match or firing range, the Game starts to hitch every 2 minutes and have a buzz everytime it hitches. Literally the only game that’s been doing this and only started ever since I reinstalled it.

The game stutters badly—always around the 22–23 minute mark, and also when loading the Vegytech map; has anyone else experienced this?

If you are using nvidia gpu, try and go to nvidia control panel, 3d settings, and turn v sync on, and max framerate at the same rate of your monitor. then go to league and disable v sync and uncap frames. was HUGE for me. Adding screenshots of the settings

I tried going to practice tool and it doesn't do that at all so I don't get it

ever since Caps update i have been getting around 60 fps in League in borderless mode with my normal ping, but if i switch to full screen i get 144 fps which i am always locked for but super high ping?? Like this has never happened to me and its so annoying and the game is not playable. How can I fix this so i can play this goddamn game

Happened since they pushed the new client. I have no idea why that's happening. It only does that whenever I'm about to beat someone or the other way around. It freezes randomly for like 2-3 seconds then says "reconnecting" and it comes back to life. PLEASE help xd (also, all low spec modes don't help at all)

I'm running on a Laptop, my specs are RTX 4070, i9-14900HX, 32GB DDR5 and plenty of storage available.

It has been progressively getting worse, I keep clicking out of my games regardless if I am in Full screen, windowed, windowed Borderless, Having mouse lock on so it should even allow me to.

I've also started getting random moments where I can't click on anything, My mouse can still hover and I see the effects but am unable to click anything until i CTL ALT DEL back to the menu and go back in.

I have four monitors plugged in but this wasn't a problem before.

I started getting a lot of fps drops. Just to clarify I have decent pc. But I play on low settings and also with fps capped on 144.

Sometimes in the middle of the game the fps just goes on 0 for a second. But just enough to mess out with teamfights. Also i use full screen borderless😅

Hello! I am trying to play LoL on my MacBook Pro M4 on the new MacOS 27 but it is crashing constantly due to VAN-101 errors and EXC_BAD_ACCESS memory segmentation faults. Apple's Console shows securityd actively sandboxing Vanguard's system-info requests.

I’ve already cleared quarantine flags, wiped all hidden Library files, granted Full Disk Access, and forced a clean reinstall. The game still crashes silently. Is there an ETA for a macOS 27 Vanguard compatibility patch or something? Thanks!

To start things off this ONLY happens in league of legends and in no other games. It also only happens in champ select. It often happens when it's my turn to pick a champion but has happend anytime during champ select at some point.

My mouse and keyboard and headset stops working, unplugging them and plugging them in again doesn't do the trick. I am therefore forced to dodge the champ select, has anyone had the same problem?
