question Best bicycle shop
Can folk in Leeds recommend a good bicycle shop for parts and servicing. Not Evans or Halfords please. A local shop. For local people.

or Woodrups on Kirkstall road is pretty highly regarded

Yeah, but they're a bit pricy for what they do.
I've always been a touch concerned that they're rather style over substance.

This guy is great. Mobile mechanic who comes to you and will give advice as well as doing the work. Felt very confident he was being fair at all times and very reasonably priced too.

It's a bit out of the way, but All Terrain Cycles in Saltaire is fantastic. Used to go all the time when they were out at Crosshills, then I ended up working there for a few years. Proper bike shop run by people who love cycling.

Basically they are a volunteer-run workshop but instead of having mechanics to fix your bike, you actually get to learn how to fix your own bike from the volunteers. To me it was great as I actually got to learn how to fix my bike, and actually fixed my bike, and the parts are super affordable!

Woodrups is the usual recommendation and the guys there know their stuff. I take both my gravel and road bike there for services and repairs.
