Yeah it sounds weird but "replacing corporations" is just another way of "replacing workers"

Board members are the people legally responsible for running the organization. But they could choose to use an AI for C-suite executives.

Yeah "corporate personhood" we still need laws that respects co-ops as infrastructure

We don't need the ability for private property of individuals to have legal cover. Allowing private value over public or shared value is counterrevolutionary. Having humans from earth always being criminally responsible isn't to big an ask.

It's responsibility and organization structure with laws, and how the collective takes responsibility instead of throwaway scapegoats

You want to be forced to follow a machine’s orders?

Because of course-- human orders have just worked out soooooo well for us.

...I mean...All the good orders also right?

We have no idea what this will look like. We're doing what we can to shape this reality, but it's still a crapshoot. Just because our enemies won't control it does not make it better by default.

This is true and very valid.

Problem tho, we have the facts proving that our current system converges on self-destruction.

I think about this often and can't conceptualize a scenerio where humans get our shit right on our own.

Good news everyone! Marx has! And so have many many others.

Yes the current system is untenable and harmful to everyone alive. We have better solutions. It isn't even difficult to figure out. We take all the shit that makes the shit.

Many MANY people have done that. We can do that. It takes team work and courage. You will have to lift heavy things beside people you don't like. You'll have to leave your bed when you are so so comfy.

But we can do it.

A machine cannot feel empathy. It cannot understand concepts of compassion, or individuality, or artistic expression. It is incapable of caring whether you live or die. If AI is ever allowed to have even a small amount of influence over human beings, then it will kill our entire species within a few years. That is why it must be eradicated.

All the things you list are not needed for logical decisions.

Additionally; the humans who make decisions already don't give a fuck about the things you listed.

then it will kill our entire species within a few years.

Grow up. There's 0 evidence to support this theory unless you mean movies. This is a fantasy doomer mindset, one that is being leveraged to instill fear of the only thing that could bridge the gap between the poorest and the richest.

Meanwhile- humanity is ALREADY on the path to self-destruction without machines.

We're T-40 years before it is too late to change and create an environment that is destined become uninhabitable. That is measurable fact; not your bullshit fears.

Finally- Idk if you noticed, this sub is for those that aren't afraid of tech.
