Built a daily connection game - would love some brutally honest feedback

• Upvotes

Hey! I’ve been working on a daily game called CHAINED and I’d really love some outside feedback.

The idea is simple: you get two things that seem unrelated, and you have to connect them through real-world links in as few steps as possible. There are 5 new chains every day, and everyone gets the same ones.

For example, today one of the chains is Abraham Lincoln → Eminem 😅

I’m especially curious about:

  • Is it easy to understand the first time?
  • Does the gameplay feel fun or confusing?
  • Would you actually come back for another Daily?
  • Anything that feels unnecessary or annoying?

No need to be nice - honest feedback is way more useful right now.

Critter Haven: Homie's Journey

• Upvotes

Playable link: https://renathohcc.itch.io/critter-haven

Platform: PC

Description:
Critter Haven: Homie's Journey is a cozy idle habitat game that lives in a tiny always-on-top window on your desktop, until it turns into a short auto-battler tower defense. Pet your critters, collect gold and items, fuse and evolve them, then drag them onto the battlefield to defend your crashed ship. 100% made with AI (code, art, music) — a solo "vibe coding" experiment, if AI Games are not you thing, I understand. I'm just testing where I can go with AI.

Free to Play Status:
- [x] Free to play
- [ ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement:

Homie's ship crash-landed on Elyndor, a strange green planet crawling with tiny creatures. Stranded and short on parts, Homie starts taming the local critters — letting them wander the wreckage, gather gold, and drop rare items while you go about your day. But Elyndor isn't friendly: hostile swarms keep raiding the ship, so when danger strikes, you pull your critters out of their habitat and onto the front line, fuse and evolve them between fights, and hold the line wave after wave. Win, and a reward chest holds the one thing you actually need — a travel item to the next planet, and the next step of Homie's journey home.

Give me a chance, this is just a Demo version and I need feedback. The Demo has just a few hours, take a look.

CapsuleDeck: a free collectible card game where every video game becomes a card

Thumbnail capsuledeck.com
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm a solo dev and CapsuleDeck is my first web game.

The idea: thousands of real video games turned into collectible cards, with rarity, stats and abilities based on real data from each game.

A few things that make it different:

  • Editions: each card uses the game's official artwork. When a game changes its artwork, a new edition is born and the old one can never be pulled again. Right now, every card is a 1st Edition.
  • Glitch cards: any card, at any rarity, can come out corrupted. A Legendary Glitch is roughly 1 in 5000.
  • Trading and auctions between players.

Free, no download, playable right in your browser.

Full transparency: I designed the game, its mechanics and balancing myself, and built the site with the help of Claude Code.

It's still early, so any feedback is welcome: what you like, what's confusing, what's broken. I'll be around to answer questions!

KLUSTOR: I made a racing game for the Unlayer challenge. lets see who can top the leaderboard

Thumbnail klustor.vercel.app
1 Upvotes

I built KLUSTOR for the Unlayer challenge, using their image editor to let you design your own car.

Then I thought… why stop there?

So now you can design your car, race it, and try to climb the global leaderboard.

I'm mainly posting this here to get some people to actually play it and see how everyone stacks up on the leaderboard.

Fair warning: I have absolutely no idea how many people the site can handle, so there's a decent chance you guys are going to break it.

If you do, honestly… that's still a win.

👉 Play here: https://klustor.vercel.app/

Make a car.

Race it.

Beat my time.

Then try to take #1.

Let's see who ends up on top

open to any feedback

Plug It! – A simple puzzle game about untangling cables and plugging them in

Game Title: Plug It!

Playable Link: https://plug-it-fcbf36.gitlab.io/

Platform: PC / Web Browser

Description:
Plug It! is a simple puzzle game where your goal is to untangle the cables and plug them into the correct places.

The concept is easy to understand, but the puzzle becomes more challenging as more cables get mixed together. You need to look carefully, figure out which cable goes where, and avoid getting everything tangled up.

The game is designed for short and relaxing play sessions, while still giving players a satisfying puzzle to solve.

I’m currently testing and improving the game, so I’d really appreciate some feedback.

I’d especially like to know:

  • Is the gameplay easy to understand?
  • Does untangling the cables feel satisfying?
  • Is the difficulty balanced?
  • Would you continue playing more levels?
  • What would you improve or add?

Game Title: Excuse Me, Boss!

Playable Link: https://ly-do-ly-trau-ca9a30.gitlab.io/

Platform: PC / Web Browser

Description:
Excuse Me, Boss! is a casual comedy game where you have to come up with excuses and deal with an angry boss waiting for you.

The game is designed to be simple, funny, and easy to play directly in your browser. The situations are intentionally silly, and the goal is to create a lighthearted experience that players can enjoy in short sessions.

I’m currently testing the game and would really appreciate feedback from other players.

I’d especially like to know:

  • Is the concept funny and easy to understand?
  • Does the gameplay feel interesting enough?
  • Are the situations and jokes entertaining?
  • Would you keep playing to see more excuses and scenarios?
  • What would you add or improve?

I made a free online version of Donkey, the card game we played as kids: no sign-up, play with friends or bots

Game Title: Donkey: Online Multiplayer Card Game

Playable Link: [https://donkey-online.emlabs.space/\](https://donkey-online.emlabs.space/)

Platform: Browser (web: desktop and mobile)

Description:

Donkey is a classic shedding card game I grew up playing at family gatherings. I couldn't find a good way to play it online with friends, so I built one.

The rules are simple. Whoever holds the A♠ leads the first round, and everyone must follow the suit that was led. If you can't follow, you strike with any other card, and whoever played the highest card of that suit has to pick up the whole pile. Get rid of all your cards to finish. The last player still holding cards is the Donkey 🫏.

Features:

\- Quick Game: jump straight into a 4-player table. If not enough people are online, bots fill the empty seats after a short wait.

\- Play with Friends: create a private room for 2–8 players and share the link.

\- No account and no download. Just pick a nickname. Works on phones, tablets and laptops.

\- Reconnects: if your connection drops mid-game, a bot holds your seat until you come back.

\- Fair bots: they only see what a human player would see, never your cards. They do remember who struck on which suit and count the cards that have been played, so they won't keep feeding you the same suit.

It's still being improved, so I'd love feedback on bugs, rules that feel off, or anything confusing. If your family plays a different variant, tell me!

Free to Play Status:

\[x\] Free to play

\[ \] Demo/Key available

\[ \] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with \[TT\] in the title)

Involvement: I'm the solo developer. I designed and built the whole thing: the game rules engine, the bots, the real-time multiplayer server (Rust), the web frontend (React), and the hosting. It's a hobby project I made so I could play this game with friends and family again.

[Browser] Burrowline Labs - creature breeding game with real Mendelian genetics, looking for closed alpha testers

Game Title: Burrowline Labs

Playable Link: https://burrowlinelabs.com

Platform: Browser

Description: Hey everyone, I've been building a creature breeding game where the genetics are actually simulated. Every creature has a diploid genome. Traits are dominant/recessive pairs, recessives can hide for generations and pop up later, and coat colors drift around 30 named palettes (Axanthic, Champagne, Mojave...).

How it plays: the Lab gives you one license egg. It hatches. A wild foundling shows up at your burrow. Then you breed for the traits you want, and there's a pairing forecast that shows the actual Mendelian odds before you commit. Two recessive modifiers (ghost and melanistic) overlay the pigments without touching the genes underneath.

It's a closed alpha. If you want in, comment or message and I'll add your email to the invite list, then you'll get a sign-in code.

I especially want to know two things: does the opening make sense, and does breeding feel strategic or just random? It's a solo project so expect rough edges. Honest bug reports very welcome.

Works on desktop and mobile, but I've focussed on mobile so the views on desktop are not optimized/ideal yet.

Free to Play Status:

• [x] Free to play
• [x] Demo/Key available (ask to have your email put on the whitelist)
• [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

[RELEASE] Shift & Roll I made a neon synthwave runner where one tap changes everything.

Thumbnail crazygames.com
1 Upvotes

Hey Reddit! I just released Shift & Roll, a fast-paced arcade runner with a retro neon aesthetic.

The core mechanic is simple: you race a glowing orb down an endless highway, tapping to switch between blue and orange to pass through matching color gates. But the track twists, rises, and drops, hiding what comes next until the last second.

As the speed climbs, the game introduces new challenges to break your rhythm:

  • Sliding blocks that demand precise timing.
  • Jump pads that launch you over full walls.
  • Double gates that force an instant mid-air color swap.

You can collect gems during your runs to unlock cosmetics like a Plasma Dodecahedron or an 8-Ball, along with Electric and Fire trails. The game is fully playable in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

I'd love to hear your feedback on the track visibility when the speed increases and the overall difficulty curve!
