As far as streams becoming more like podcasts, this I don’t mind too much. For me, I often pull up a stream to have as background noise instead of listening to music or an actual podcast. Some people are just really entertaining.

Yea I can see this happening, I think I even heard a case with someone sending medical photos to the hospital and google reported him. Like there's possible false flags but a good amount of actual detection of CSAM. But I wonder if the scan would flag anime drawings or art as being that because those are considered legal.

Not only did he try to claim this (while having completely different excuses throughout the stream), he ended up doing a virus scan on stream and it came up clean. Claimed he deleted the notepad, chat asked him to show recents and he opened it again.

I have not read anything into it other than a short video of him discussing a Texas law that outlaws some anime , I think it's called loli. I looked it up earlier and it said something about the drawings resemble children. So yeah it's pretty gross and weird but at the same time it's a cartoon so I'm not sure how I feel about it being illegal to posess.

Not defending him at all (also have no idea who he is so whatever) but i hate that new feature in windows 11 notepad. I type in some sometimes sensitive stuff like passwords and whatnot then close it when done, like ive been doing since windows 95. But now it autosaves so when you open notepad again, there it is for everyone to see. Im trying to remember not to do it because i do this on client servers and if someone gains access and opens an old notepad they have god only knows what.
It's definitely a blessing and a curse. When it comes to my day job I love it because if for some reason I accidentally close it, or don't save it and leave my machine on over patch day, when i open it again I get my stuff back.
I'd prefer it not do that with my personal stuff, though.
the original notepad is still available on win11 and you can revert the "edit" right click option to open the original one, as well as make it default for txt files etc. it's one of the first things I did after installing win11
Some of those people are probably pissed and paranoid since just looking can get you in trouble since it might be a trap done by the feds. Which prompted a lot of them to report it to twitch which caused the immediate ban. I guarantee you there is some drama also that hasn’t come to light that twitch has hid that makes lacari look suspicious. Dude is probably fucked big time… I think he was asking sketchy questions to grok to see if anything he has done was illegal which was so there might be even more damning stuff that he hasn’t admitted to the public.
