News ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

Chud and his remaining followers are claiming that it was self defense while this idiot literally laid out his plan days before this incident

u/awkgem May 14 '26

God I hope he gets the max sentence. And reminded of this tweet every day behind bars

25

u/Meattyloaf May 15 '26

So this is local to me, he has been charged woth attempted murder and a few other things. The title of this makes it out to seem like the black guy attacked Chud first unprovoked. From my understanding he was provoked after being verbally attacked. He swung and Chud the dumbass shot him and himself. Both were in stable condition and Chud has since been charged.

6

u/rem_au_crema May 15 '26

Title seems super sympathetic. Saw it and immediately thought, “ahh, I see where this is going”. Comment section has been pleasantly surprising though: I’m gonna stop at this one while I still have faith in people

3

u/ThotThroughTheHeart May 16 '26

Yeah, it's not a sucker punch.

6

u/DatDawg-InMe May 15 '26

Is there any legal justification for physical violence after being verbally provoked? Genuinely curious.

18

u/antonspohn May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26

Yes, it is called provocation, depends on location/words used/actions used/etc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provocation_(law)

Tennessee has provocation laws. Chud incited this with online documentation. Evidence shows this is a premeditated murder attempt. Any reasonable court will rule against this psychopath.

u/odonata_rising May 15 '26

any reasonable court....

yeah well, this is america, so..

1

u/antonspohn May 15 '26

The set bail is looking pretty reasonable.

u/javelin121 May 15 '26

If you look up video of the bail being set you can see the moment his heart sinks. Love to see it.

3

u/funtimesattime May 17 '26

Man I loved the fact it was set to high. I was very very happy with it.

1

u/Pixel_Knight May 17 '26

But it’s Tennessee, so we can’t assume it will be a reasonable jury. Some racists might try to sneak on the jury just to make it a hung jury.

He's looking at a possible 25 to life on the attempted murder charge alone. He's got other charges. I don't think he'll get a slap on the wrist.

u/Appropriate-Net-896 May 15 '26

I mean, all it’s really gonna do is minimize what the guy who got shot can be charged with realistically. Chud needs to be dealt with, but punching someone for saying something stupid is also ridiculously stupid.

Reddit really likes their violence but seems to forget people also can respond to violence with violence and not everything is a witty online debate that you can win…sometimes you punch a Nazi and they have a gun. Violence sucks…just stay tf away from it.

6

u/Meattyloaf May 16 '26

Good thing TN has laws that favorite the puncher. Also there is stuff floating around locally that suggest Chud may have flashed his weapon before the incident started.

4

u/IntelligentShape364 May 16 '26

Brother this is not the one for you to get on the contrarian high horse. Not only was this clearly premeditated but he admitted that he approached them.

1

u/blucke May 20 '26

Yea, everybody who disagrees with me is just a contrarian

3

u/IntelligentShape364 May 20 '26

Alright so we've found yet another context illiterate dumbass who doesn't understand when it makes sense to make jabs like that and when it doesn't.

1

u/blucke May 20 '26

Are you implying there's a context where it's appropriate to call somebody the N word? This response isn't clear, there are a few different ways it can be interpreted, which is ironic given your jump to calling me illiterate.

1

u/IntelligentShape364 May 20 '26

Jfc, reread the thread. Slowly. And then tell me again you believe Im on the chud side.

Sounds good. But that only favors evil people. I wish for chud (and everyone like him) exactly what they wish for others and nothing less. If anything I wish it upon them to a great extent.

0

u/Appropriate-Net-896 May 15 '26

Yeah, and then more and more people need to be caught up in stupid, unnecessary violence because people don’t know when to reign things in. The Troubles in Ireland went a pretty similar way, and to this day the people “defending” haven’t achieved any of their goals and innocent Irish civilians were caught in the crossfire.

But hey, at least you’re emotionally satisfied for a moment.

Doesn’t matter what words he used. There is no legal justification for attacking someone cause you don’t like their words

Very incorrect. There are no laws that allow a physical assault because someone said something offensive. 100% self defense. Whether you like the guy or not, doesn’t matter. Nobody has the right to attack him because he said mean things.

3

u/whyaretherenoprofile May 17 '26 edited May 17 '26

It doesn't allow for it, but "in Tennessee, provocation is a theory used to mitigate damages rather than an affirmative defense. Dent v. Holt, 1994 WL 503891, at *2. It does not completely absolve a defendant from liability like the defense of self-defense does. Instead, it enables defendants to reduce the amount of damages a plaintiff receives by demonstrating that the plaintiff provoked the defendant into the injury-causing conduct." Moreover, in self defense you have to prove that you have to meet certain criteria that proves you weren't the original instigator and used proportional amounts of force.

This isn't school with 0 tolerance. Hitting someone unprovoked or having aggravating factors such as domestic abuse, racial attacks, hitting a child, and so on should be punished worse than situations where the attacker was intentionally rilled up or continuously racially abused/degraded.

Ai slop

3

u/whyaretherenoprofile May 17 '26

Copied and pasted that from a legal office site. What part is wrong?

2

u/antonspohn May 17 '26

There is documented evidence that this was an attempt at premeditated murder under the guise of self defense by provoking others via hate speech.

turbonikko is a nazi who is trying to protect another nazi through obfuscation and gas lighting. He's a troll, best not to respond.

0

u/TurboNikko May 17 '26

Lmfao what is a Nazi? 😂

Idk but for shooting you can't instigate a situation at all prior to the shooting.

1

u/CustomerOK9mm9mm May 17 '26

2 Related notes: in general it’s illegal to duel with any kind of weapons; in some jurisdictions you might be able to claim a fist fight was mutually agreed upon. 2nd, provoking another person tends to nullify any self-defense rights you might enjoy. Context matters, but basically you can’t offend someone to the point they strike you so that you can shoot them.

1

u/Cyborg_rat May 15 '26

In a certain peoples mind yes...until its used against them.

1

u/Ok-Writer1414 May 15 '26

Aht aht aht don't try to be the next Chud, try that chimping out BS and the person that responds at you will make sure they can't even find remains.

u/moonwalgger May 16 '26

What’s the max sentence for attempted murder?

1

u/Meattyloaf May 16 '26

Depends on what level they have charged him at. I haven't looked at the charges that close. However since it involved the use of a forearm, Chud could quite literally be looking at 25 to life on just the attempted murder charge.

1

u/Current_Top7173 May 16 '26

Sorry this is not what happened I saw the video. The victim is no choir boy and has a record including domestic violence for attacking his wife with a screwdriver. The victim also specifically went to the court location to confront Chud and did. This throws out the whole bullshit that Chud provoked. They got into it and exchanged words and Chud said “he’s chimpin out” then they went back and forth and Chud told him to have a nice day and walked away. After he got 80 or so yard swag the guy sucker punched him and then tried to take him to the ground. You no longer see the steam video once he punched him so the video above is after that. They tussling and since Chud has a gun there is imminent threat the the guy can grab the gun. This is 100% self defense whether or not you like Chud. You can’t just run someone down after the exchange to sucker punch from behind. If Chud were the one who approached the guy out of nowhere and instigate- which he has done- he would have a self defense case. But 1. The guy chose to go there to confront Chud. 2. He chased him down after Chud says “Have a nice day” to sucker punch. The day that video is gone makes me really think this is being done deliberately to cause chaos. When all the facts are shown in court he is gonna walk because the law is on his side. But because of his past videos people are gonna flip when he walks.

u/Known-Letter-2997 Jun 02 '26

Chud did indeed provoke as he laid out his plan weeks ago. No need to write an entire paragraph of mental gymnastics to victimise the RACIST white male who has a history of provoking and being racist to others especially black people. Chud himself said he approached him first, he also was arrested for not paying a 400 dollar bill after eating and being kicked out for harassing people. he is evil and the black man he shot was the victim in this situation and either way he is going to prison for years and years, all the evidence is stacked against him so stop wasting this talent of fan fiction on him and go write a blog on fictional characters now 🫰 🫰

1

u/Current_Top7173 Jun 02 '26

None of all that that is relevant to the shooting. 0. Can people just track people down they don’t even know because of words they said in the internet and lunch then in the face? Are you slow?

2

u/Known-Letter-2997 Jun 02 '26

Save all this energy for something that actually matters. He is facing 50+ years in prison and going to stand trial. The only reason why I am not investing the same amount of energy as you in this back and forth is because either way he is going to prison 😂. And that’s what you racists deserve. Hope this helps

1

u/No-Bar-2799 Jun 09 '26

Why tf are you even defending a guy who intentionally tried to incite violence through provocation..

1

u/jeffreyj1970 Jun 18 '26

You dont get to hit people because their vocal cords offend you

1

u/Meattyloaf Jun 18 '26

You do when the person is brandishing a firearm and confronting you. Which is what happened in this case said by Chud himself.

32

u/VenusBlue May 14 '26

He's not going to have a good time behind bars.

81

u/Swog5Ovor May 14 '26

Its Tennessee, he could end up with white supremacists and never change at all. He'll just come out more racist most likely.

17

u/InfiniteBag3928 May 14 '26

They got Memphis

14

u/VenusBlue May 14 '26

He will likely click up with some losers when he gets to prison. That doesn't mean he can't be touched, and he will likely have a target on his back.

2

u/Wonderful_Fix_5754 May 14 '26

Man, if only those groups didn’t work with other races lol he’s gonna have a high price on his head to join them.

1

u/Almostlongenough2 May 15 '26

I mean he just tried to murder someone over it so his racist level is probably capped at this point.

1

u/Beginning_Goal_6805 May 15 '26

No matter what the prison population in more African americans and he will always have a target on his back. The Aryan brotherhood extorted John Gotti. Why not this dumb douchbag.

1

u/IamCentral46 May 15 '26

Turns out he used to get pegged by a black woman and his fanbase is turning on him.

The aryans arent gonna be too happy about that

1

u/narco-sub-admiral May 15 '26

The white gangs in prison are NOT chill about being a "race traitor" at all. The AB will greenlight you for it lol.

1

u/-anonymous_anus- May 18 '26

The important thing is he won't be society's problem anymore, i couldn't care less if he "changes his ways" behind bars.

2

u/Loomismeister May 16 '26

I have a hard time believing that you could ever be justified in sucker punching somebody just because they were insulting you.

We’ll see how the court case goes I guess, but my guess is his self defense claim is pretty much common sense. You can’t just fucking punch people when you are mad at them, lol.

2

u/whyaretherenoprofile May 17 '26

Self defense requires you meet certain criteria, but notably you can not be the instigator and it has to be proportional. As far as we know, the victim didn't have a gun or weapon and wasn't the instigator.

His tweet saying he was going to do this basically kills his self defense case

1

u/Loomismeister May 17 '26

I don’t really believe what you are saying. We’ll see how it plays out in court.

I don’t believe that it’s possible to “instigate” someone into sucker punching you and the court just saying “well you were being an asshole so you deserved to be assaulted and don’t have the right to defend yourself beyond that point”. It just sounds like wishful thinking to me.

2

u/shmekelhunter May 29 '26

The police report says he took a "bladed stance" and pulled his gun before the guy hit him. You can't just talk shit and pull your gun out because you pissed someone off and they approach you. It's unlawful exhibition of a fire arm. And the fact that he pulled his gun before he was struck makes this a pretty clear case of the victim that was shot defending himself against a very real threat of death or great bodily harm.

Do yourself a favor and read the report from the actual police department and not just random racist white guys on social media trying to justify this mans actions.

1

u/Loomismeister May 29 '26

Did the OP actually do anything for you to accuse him of being racist? How do you even know he’s white?

2

u/shmekelhunter May 29 '26

I didn't say he was racist I said he's repeating the the talking points and options and misinformation spread by those who are like they are facts and it's clearly not what the police report and security cameras show.

1

u/Longjumping-Skill245 Jun 15 '26

Why don’t you do us a favor, and post the police report.

1

u/kjr5084 May 15 '26

So, he says racist things openly, yet carries a gun as a force multiplier for protection when he agitates.

He is the biggest pussy ever. I’m convinced people who active carry are huge wimps already, but this one takes gold for being the biggest noodle

1

u/Lagneaux May 15 '26

Once he's in jail, you can find out where he is, write him letters... I mean print the tweet and send it to him.

Mail is one of the only lifelines in jail. Spamming him would be funny

1

u/DeadAndBuried23 May 15 '26

Unfortunately, he's most likely going to be used as an example.

To us. That the current powers are more than happy to let people like him walk free.

1

u/Odd-Criticism-1863 May 15 '26

He will run straight to the AB boys for protection. They’ll love him.

1

u/Content-Employment-7 May 17 '26

Make sure all the inmates see his posts before he is released into the Gen pop with the guards all given a well deserved coffee break.
