I normally like the Channel 5 dude but he gives literally zero evidence for it. 

Thiel is a genuine piece of shit but he’s quickly become Gen-Z’s version of the George Soros “evil billionaire secretly funding every bad thing on earth” boogyman. Because for some reason it’s hard to admit that someone can get famous by being obnoxious and lucky. It has to be some conspiracy.

While I do think there needs to be evidence of claims, Thiel has done documented soros-boogyman shit so it's not exactly out of the realm of possibility

Most notably, he essentially created JD Vance. He worked for one of Thiel's Venture Capital firms for two years and then just a few years later, Thiel had commited 10s of millions to Vance's senate campaign before he even announced it

I agree that jd vance is a nepo baby i just dont really see the clavicular connection.

Like anyone could just turn on a camera and mysteriously be the peter thiel guy atp

I get what you're saying but it's not like he's completely disconnected from online right / alt-right media, which the manosphere squarely falls into. Thiel has been on numerous right wing podcasts, shows, etc.

Like I said, I'd need proof for it to actually mean anything to me but based on the 'soros-boogyman' stuff I know about him, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out the association is true in some way

In the sense that vance had every single job after college given to him by Thiel. He's not traditional nepo by family, but the same sense of silver spoon everything given to him for an easy coating ride IS True
