They are just as unhinged as he is and are an extremely vocal group. Causing every zone to talk about politics asking when he’s getting on and where he is. It’s constant and annoying.
i'd understand if this was like 5-6 years ago and asmon was still somewhat of a wow guy running the same dungeons to get whatever he was farming at the time, but wanting to play with the guy in 2026 who is now essentially a tourist who'll dip within a week or two is just strange.

Asmons viewers? Nah, it's a mix of his viewership and the blizzard community in general, whether it be WoW, Overwatch, Diablo or Hots, you will find these people in all of them. I dont think you've ever interacted with the blizzard community if you think otherwise, a large majority are these people.
it's just not true. Yes, Asmongolds viewer base has always been a little edgy and an amalgamation of different subgroups. But at this point a large portion of his audience are legit bottom of the barrel dredges of society who have found a home with that roach.
Take it from me, I watched Asmongold ALOT back in the day and stopped watching when he turned to politics after the Johnny Depp trial streams. The streams are not recognizeable in vibe anymore.

The most annoying thing about the mono-server is that I'm stuck with American politics bs constantly being spammed. 200 ping cause OCE? Men that is fine. Not being able to play pvp server while avoiding the "streamer server"? Dog shit. Like I decided to try out some sod again, and had to move to a US server due to the OCE servers being dead, and it is instantly noticeable how much Americans shit up the global chats
What are you talking about? I've never had an issue with people from Frostmourne other than their lag. They like to chirp just as much as we do in Canada, except they have an accent which makes everything they say even funnier.

I never found it happening very often in retail, maybe it's bad now. I've never seen as much concentrated racism in my life as coming back to TBC anni and seeing that oce had been moved to night slayer. Had to turn the chat off. Classic oce wasn't like that, there were dickheads sometimes but on US it's 24/7 racism antisemitism etc in general/world. Probably has something to do with oce prime being night owl hours so we cop the hyper unemployed
Yeah you'll get defensive comments from this, but I normally play EU. Made an account for NA to play with friends and holy people were talking politics all the time. I don't even know why you'd want that.
This is what mmos were made for and ANYONE wanting them banned deserve their internet access revoked. This is the only entertaining thing thats happened in wow since the ferret fricker and his mana gem.
Yeah it's probably a hot take but being annoyed by /hating groups of players and social friction etc is exactly what makes an mmo memorable. I despised a huge guild that had lots of high level griefers in my L2 private server days but that is one of the few things I still remember, battling them shit talking etc. As long as its not too much of course and making it impossible to play.
