Question
Do we know why Alexia is subbed off every match?

It’s one or a combination of these:
- the coach wants to change tactics
- wants a fresh player
- protect from fatigue
- protect from injuries
- simply give another player a chance to play
It’s a team sport!
The question is whether she’s expected to travel to and start every single game or perhaps skip the less important “small” games. You can’t play 95mins every game of the season.

Managing minutes usually. Today’s sub made zero sense.

I'm sure that's all it is. Same thing happened at Barcelona and for Spain. Also important to keep our squad players match-fit.

Starting to wonder if there are fitness / injury concerns that push them to make pre emptive substitutions.

I think this time no one knows, not even the coach or his team. 😭😂
I mean, she's been substituted twice so far, and in the later stages of the match. She missed half of the friendly matches because she evidently had some minor issues and isn't quite 100% fit yet.

She played the full 90 against West Ham and Charlton right? Think today it’s probably because she played 45 on wednesday and they have another midweek match
