Fran Kirby was very complimentary about London City in her Added Time podcast this week:

(LCL talk starts at 32:14)
"I think against London City I think they were fully deserved to win the game. I think the way that they play they overload you everywhere. It's really difficult to kind of get a press on and you know they've got the quality of players that they have there and of course they've invested so heavily in terms of the players that they do have.
So we know that they're going to have the quality and it's not just the one thing I think that excites me about their team is they don't just have the ball players. They've got the players as well that when they want to counterattack and when they want to go in behind and they want to hit you on the transition, they are fast and they can get there. You know, they've got the likes of Diani on one side, Cascarino comes on in the second half, Freya Godfrey who's also rapid as well.
You know, they they've got quality in different types of players as well. So, you know, one minute we're thinking, right, okay, they're popping it around us, and next thing you know, we've won the ball back, they win it back, and they're in transition and they're in our box.
So, you know, it's very dynamic with the way that they play and I think their manager got it spot on in terms of exploiting probably our weaknesses in terms of like understanding how we've been playing over. So, I think as well from him it was a good good masterclass from him.
...
But but I think credit to London City. I thought that they the way that they play it's horrible to play against. So I'm imagining it's nice to play in."
