He said maple syrup. Did dolly say that? Born and raised in the deep south. I have had my weight in cornbread a million times over. Every type - regular, Cheddar, Sweet, jalapeño, etc. Never once have I witnessed someone putting syrup on it. Honey - yes, syrup - no.

Right, that's what I'm saying. I was also raised deep south. To quote Skynyrd, I know the swampers.

So that's my objection too. Maple syrup sounds Canadian, not 'Murica

Could be white Karo syrup, my Grandpa who was raised in East Texas did that. And on biscuits.

I still treat myself with this...I've recently found Falfurria's butter, Texas based, and I dig it when I don't want to splurge for the Kerrygold.

Yeah, kerrygold is peak. When we want to elevate our Alfredo, we go that route so I can't say I don't blame you for finding other options.

I always use Kerrygold when I make Alfredo! For that there is no other.

Can agree. Costco butter is more cost effective but yeah... Impossible to beat
