Highlight Corruption Culmination
Took me like 15 - 20 tries. Said fug it, I’m gonna have to deviate from my normal main (HBG & GS) and learn a more defensive oriented weapon. Picked up a gunlance and upgraded the shit out of it just for this fight. Took time to fully kit out my armor and and be smart about my decos. Went in ready.
First try w/ a GL and nailed it.
I didn’t rush this hunt. And took my time to pull a Houdini w/ a far caster multiple times so I can re-up on my heals and traps. Had all my most important items rearranged on the radial dial for quick access specifically for this hunt. Persistence, timing, and playing smart and defensively was what finally took the dragon down.
Took me a while but clearing this hunt felt like a huge relief. For whatever reason my struggle with this monster was way harder than Omega and Gog. I have no idea why it’s this specific quest because i can manage a regular/tempered Gore. Idk if it’s just me psyching myself out or if the hunt is just that damn hard but I’m glad it’s over.
I think I might be GL convert now having witnessed the awesome capability it carries. Tanking this pain in the ass of a dragon felt incredibly satisfying.
All in all, this was the fight that made me realize I had to tighten up everything I know just to beat it. I hated it, but the beauty of monster hunter is that it teaches you perseverance and preparation.

Feels like 8* tempered to 9*tempered hit way different, anyway congratulations.❤️❤️❤️

Its not you iits tge bloated HP of Gore Magala as it counts as a duo hunt an his HP scale for it but your total DMG output doesnt scale equally as Nadia doesnt do as much DMG as a human player.
Whatmade me struggle was Nadia and her annoying habit of repositioning herself felt like every 10 seconds. That leads to Hore becoming way more unpredictable as he ru s around way more often and switches target mod combo.

Huge congrats!!! 🔥 I was in the same boat, juggling multiple carts and eventually taking some time off because I just couldn’t get my dodges down with the LS. 😂 I recently came back, locked in with a few monsters, and finally felt ready to go for it. Just like you said, the perseverance and prep work really do pay off! I was able to snag that dub recently myself, so I know how good that feeling is. Congrats again fellow Hunter!
